Wait, there's still hockey going on? I stopped paying attention awhile ago...wonder why.

Seriously though, that was some break between rounds. I kept glancing at the NHL scoreboard at Yahoo! Sports every morning expecting to see a game on tap for the evening.

And the Ducks take Game 1, 3-2. I didn't get to watch the game, but I'm sure it was exciting. I mean come on now, we are talking about the Stanley Cup Finals!

ducks take game 2. It was a decent game. Sens aren't playing their game. The ducks definitely outplayed them.

I love how we're all just a tad behind on this. But yea, I think the Sens will wake up considering they'll be home. It should be a great series.

I'm rooting for Anaheim. I though Ottawa would win Game 3 though, out of desperation. They don't want to be in the Sabres position in the Conference Finals.

wut do you think about sens 3rd goal. I don't think it should have counted...

On precedent, looking at how they handled Rachunek's no-goal in the Rangers-Sabres series, that totally should have been disallowed. For once I agree with what Brett Hull has to say about the kicking motion rules.

Do explain, because there was no kicking motion before, during, or after which affected the direction of the puck. There was a little kick, but it was well after the puck had gone off of Alfie's skate and had nothing to do with the end result; a goal.

He rearranged his skate to move the puck into the net, Rachunek's goal was disallowed for kicking because he started to stop so he wouldn't hit the net and ran into the puck. Neither was a 'distinct kicking motion', but if they're going to set precedents, they should follow them.

You know this final is really showing up the problems in the NHL's current "schedule".

I just can't get myself worked up over this series, and can't even tell you when the games are. Not only that, but nobody in Vancouver is talking about it.

I don't have anything against the Sens, its just that I can't get myself worked up over a team that (if I'm lucky) I may see once in a year.

Don't get me started about the schedule. I would love to see some more western conference action. I say knock down divisional play to 6 games. So that's a gain of at least 10 games (depending on division).

There is a God!!! No More Yashin!!! Link!

Game 5 tonight and the Ducks are already up 1-0. The Sens have been taking some really bad penalties in the 1st period.

Conn Symthe - Scott Niedermayer

Wow, here's a fact I didn't know.... Ducks are the first West Coast team to win the Cup. Only took them 14 years. Took the Islanders 8. :p

Congrats to the Anaheim Ducks organization for winning the 2007 Stanley Cup.

They all played extremely well, especially when it counted the most.
