'06 - '07 NHL Season

In big-screen HD (1080 :D) it was obvious that there was no angle with definitive, conclusive proof that it went in, though you could pretty much tell it was across the line. I think they made the right call...but it was mad close.

Game 1 shook the rust off the rangers, Game 2 was all Rangers but the Sabres made some nice plays to take it...now it looks like the Rangers have figured the Sabres out. I already can't wait until Friday. :D
 
I think the Stanley Cup Finals are going to look like Anaheim vs. Ottawa, with the Ducks coming out on top. I hope Ottawa gets creamed though, lol

Come one, we need Charlie Conway and Goldberg to win the cup, right? :p

DET over SJ today 4-1. DET leads the series 3-2.

OTT eliminates NJ 3-2. OTT wins series 4-1.

Earlier this week ANA elminated VAN, winning the series 4-1.

As of right now I'm a perfect 2 for 2.

BUF and NYR play tomorrow at 2pm on NBC.

Even though they lost they played well. Its the rangers, their on when they want to. Friday's game was just stupid and lazy and it cost them this game today. I'm surprised the way they played against Buffalo. Here's to next season... (just for the love of god get rid of Malik :p )

That'll definitely be a hard-fought series. The Sabres still haven't found their stride, but I think they'll get it this round...so many motivational factors.

Hahahaha I knew you'd hate that. I've rooted for your team long enough, it's time to throw it behind somebody else. The series could go either way. This one should be great.

Actually, I generally take the opposite stance...I root for teams that knock my team out. I'd rather be able to say that my team lost to a team that was the eventual champion than a team that got plastered the next round...makes my team look better.

There are of course rivalry instances where I will never root for a certain team (and the Senators may actually be one of those cases), but I'd certainly be rooting for the Rangers if they'd won that series.
 
Ottawa vs. Buffalo tonight..Any predictions?

I say Ottawa in 7, I do think Buffalo is going to stomp over Ottawa tonight though. Ottawa had 2 "easy" series, and they are probably cocky, maybe overly cocky. I can see Buffalo handing it to them in game 1. I would look for a new Ottawa for the rest of the series and eventually take it. What do you think?

Right, because Buffalo had such a hard time getting to the third round.

I'm one grumpy cowboy...the Sabres couldn't even make it close. They'd better find their legs in a hurry or this is going to be an awfully short series.
 
Whew...it was crucial for the Sabres to score after having the first one disallowed, and they did it.

And now they've put another one home just a couple of minutes later. Huge start for the Sabres...let's keep the pressure on.
