All can say at this blissful moment, as I sit here after returning from the monthly caver's meeting, and then the unofficial after meeting meeting where some brews and all-you-can-eat excellent fish was partaken of, the Blues not only beat the Red Wings last night, but!!!! It was a shut-out!!! 😀
Had to laugh at reading the quote from the Detroit coach "A blind dog finds a bone once in a while," Babcock said. "I mean, everything happens once in a while. Give them full credit. They worked hard. They had a game plan, they stuck to it." 🙄 😉
Now,,, if we can only beat Nashville.
Oh, this part was quite 😎 : "The Red Wings were last shut out Jan. 7, 2004, in a 3-0 loss to Boston -- a string of 175 games. Calgary holds the NHL record for consecutive games without being shutout -- 264 from Nov. 12, 1981 to Jan. 9, 1985."
