Here's hoping a pile show up tracking tomorrow already in the USA.

When I pre-ordered my iPad Mini I was a bit disappointed that it shipped from Ontario, CA so there was no drama. Of course we all got our Minis on launch day as promised, or some lucky ones even before. With no pre-order for the 5s I'm hoping it was stashed in the states in anticipation of the huge demand.

Went to Preparing for Shipment at 5:00 PM last night.

No changes.

I'm confident it will arrive before the promised date window of Sept 27 - Oct 1

Just my thought,
I really do believe the first batch of phones have been shipped, or are being shipped as we type.
There's probably just some delay in being updated on apples system.
Usually it takes UPS 24 hours for a shipping label to even show up in their system.

I don't think they've left china though. But most likely they will in the next 12 hours? Its 6am in china right now, and while they do ship 24/7, expect everything to speed up in around an hour or 2.

I still don't really understand the plane tracking etc, so if anyone that does, are there any UPS planes from hong kong to anchorage leaving in the next.. 4-8 hours?

Also, just from experience, if a package is being scanned, lets say right now. it will only show up online in around 2 hours. I've religiously tracked packages before, refreshing every few minutes, and then eventually they show up that something happened 2 hours ago. USPS is even worse with this by the way.. they have a wait of a few years for their tracking to update...

The problem is not a single person has gotten a confirmation that a Verizon 32GB Gold has shipped. Only the 16gb version and maybe the 64gb version. The elusive 32gb gold just doesn't seem to be moving at all.

Uh, unless your phone are in the US what difference would that make? Its Monday already in China.

Just got an email informing me that my case has shipped. Interestingly, it's shipping via FedEx and scheduled to arrive Wed. My phone is supposed to be a day behind so it should ship in the next 24 hours. If so, it would be here thur or fri!

Which plane are you referring to? No UPS planes have landed recently. Nor will they for hours. And there isn't any scheduled departure within 10 minutes of 1915.
