Anyone know why UPS99 did a big squiggly over the Pacific? Thought that was kind of odd. Weather or turbulence I would assume.

You mean that slightly flat part at the bottom then the curve up? Look at the history, its typical.

Yeah. Have to remember the earth is curved, but when you see it on a screen the earth looks flat, but the route is the same so it looks curvy also.

Wow that's pretty amazing how much it saves!

I'm in Los Angeles and my phone is on UPS99 with a delivery date of Thursday, but it blows me away that Beezy253's screenshot says his shipment went from Louisville to Seattle in 2 hours?! Is that even possible?

It seems a lot of people are getting deliveries a day early; hopefully us west coasters get that quick of a turnaround time from Kentucky!

If I'm as lucky as Beezy, I think I should be able to pick it up at UPS when they open tomorrow morning!:D

Not until you consider the time change ;)

It works to your advantage.

That makes sense!

Wow. UPS 99 is currently scheduled to land in 30 minutes, exactly the same time as yesterday.

Mine was ships within 1-3 business days. 32 GB AT&T grey. Still preparing for shipment. :)

Enjoy your phones!

That was a screenshot of my Amazon order (screen protectors shipped Via Prime).. just using it as reference as to how fast express packages can move!

I'm hoping for early delivery, tomorrow.

Exciting! Hope it's today!

Doubtful. UPS seems to have three flights from Louisville to the SF Bay Area: http://flightaware.com/live/findflight/KSDF/ZOA/ Meanwhile, the UPS status remains stuck on "The scheduled connection was missed".

It's about 2 pm here. Two of the day's three UPS flights landed long ago, at about 4 and 5 am here. One more is due around 5 pm-ish. That one arrives too late for any delivery today. If the phone had somehow made it un-scanned onto one of the earlier flights and was on a truck by now, it would probably have been scanned again by now, probably several times (arrival at OAK, departure on truck...)

I conclude it's sitting in Louisville taunting me. But I'll sit here watching the front door like an idiot nonetheless.

This is the flight i've been watching. It is the only UPS flight I could find that left within the time frame that matches my departure. 99% positive that's our flight. I put my order for hold at UPS facility - should be in my city by late tonight or first thing in the morning (i hope!).

This flight claims to have departed at 10:54 KST, not 11:30 like the departure scan claims. Am I missing something?

Mine arrived earlier today! (Atlanta)

Its weird, earlier this morning my tracking had my departure scan listed at 10:23 PM in Incheon. Then a few hours later at work it changed to the 11:30 PM departure scan.

Time zones and/or a delay. Didn't comprehend your post well enough as I'm doing a lab report atm.

Scan on plane maybe?

Hi guys

This is my first purchase at the Apple Store online and I was wondering in how precise the estimated delivery times are.

It says "Delivers: Sep 30 - Oct 2 by Standard Shipping". Did your previous orders arrive on the estimated delivery time too or did they generally came earlier/later?

Did anyone have a shipping confirmation yet?

I placed my order online on the 20th at 3:02AM and my order was confirmed. I received the same exact message as you did. Yesterday I received a Shipment Notification message from Apple stating "Your shipment is on its way" (iPhone 5s 64GB Gray) and it will be delivered on 25 September "by end of day". So, tomorrow, Wednesday the 25th, my phone will reach me here in New Jersey. Hope this helps you and your phone reaches you just as fast.

They just landed and are beginning the taxi to its area

In case anyone is interested on the outbound leg you can listen in real time to the tower/approach/departure here:
