UPS tried to deliver at 11:11 a.m., my wife was asked to be at home to accept the delivery. She was in the bathroom and didn't answer the door. Looks like tomorrow for me

It's not a plane-tracking thread for those of us with 32GB Gold VZW iPhones that have not even shipped yet... (yes, I'm begging for sympathy here.. lol). Seriously though, I am not at all envious of those of you who have already gotten your phones or have a phone "on a jet plane".

Mine says EOD. And I can't join mychoice as I haven't got any mortgage or utility bills in my name.
I have a lab at 3:30 that I hope I can pick it up before.
I am waiting for a 32gb gold vzw iPhone that has been stuck in 'Preparing for Shipment' status and I have called apple twice and both times they keep just repeating my 1-3 business days and it is expected to be here between sept 27th and Oct 1. He just repeated it with every reply and then gave me a sob story about how his order isn't coming until Nov because he missed ordering early. I got the confirmation email at 12:05am. It's def frustrating.
Well the third business day since the order is tomorrow. So that's probably why they keep repeating that.
I understand the wait is excruciating but it's still well within the time window Apple originally said it would come in.
The CSRs at Apple are probably going crazy over some of you guys calling in saying why your status hasn't changed. It's not like it's Oct. 5th and your phone hasn't arrived yet.
I don't think any of us Houston folk are going to be lucky with the flight that just landed in Anchorage. Seems like there aren't any flights from Louisville over to Houston overnight

I placed an order for a 32 GB AT&T iPhone 5s at 3:16am on Friday, and until this evening I have been at "Preparing for Shipment" since earlier this past weekend. I've still got the 1-3 days quote, but my order is suddenly back at "Processing Items." Anyone else experiencing this? Should I call Apple, or is this normal...?
oh man - call Apple. I even called them to complain about the expedited shipping and they threw me a free case for my phone. If you are still showing those delivery dates of 27th - 1st, then they will fulfill it, but you can probably talk to them about the status. They may throw you something to "make it right"!
