Called apple cs earlier to explain about customers being expedited without paying the extra $10 and I was able to get my $10 back may not be much but can go towards screen protector or case :)

Gold 16GG in Anchorage on the 1:16pm flight. Arriving in New Jersey on Wednesday.

I was in Anchorage a few weeks ago. I should have coordinated this better.

The CSRs at Apple are probably going crazy over some of you guys calling in saying why your status hasn't changed. It's not like it's Oct. 5th and your phone hasn't arrived yet.

Yeah I understand and I did not get nasty at them but it is frustrating so see people who ordered around the same time and in a lot of cases after I did not just shipping before me but Getting then delivered today. It's hard not feeling left behind in the excitement.

Ha! Won't be happening, he has a meeting set for 9:50. And he uses android. So I think I'm set right now. Besides if the 1% chance I do get caught, I doubt I would get fired. and even if I did, I think that would be more of a favor to me since I have plans to leave in the next month anyways.

Yeah, I've called a couple of times too. I don't think they will escalate the issue until we are officially outside of that 1-3 business day window. And while I understand that, the fact that our phones aren't being shipped in order is quite frustrating. I mean, I was #1 in line at a Verizon store when I placed my Apple.com order, and ended up going home when it said it would ship in 1-3 days. I don't know if the store actually had any gold phones, so that's why I ordered online instead.

It's tough to be patient when so many others who ordered after me are already getting their phones (or at least have a shipping confirmation). I'm certainly glad for those who are getting them, of course! All I can hope for at this point is that it makes the 1-3 day window and doesn't slip to a much later date.

Interesting... Looks like they all have the same reason. Believe me I've heard this in past many times and since then I make sure I stay home for receiving shipments.

You may be only looking at flights actually in the air, 99 should be in the air any minute now.

Come one, need more ppl making fun of me for listening to ATC at Anchorage.

Gotcha. Searched 99 and it's still on the ground. This is my first time listening to ATC. It's pretty cool. I don't know how they understand eachother though. Voices are so muffled and they talk so fast, LOL.

My UPS tracking is bugged and shows my package is available for pickup, but the pickup center keeps telling me that it's not there! ahhhh the tease.

I requested a pickup in Houston as well and my tracking page still shows tomorrow as the expected delivery date. It's more than possible for them to get it here from louisvile and ready for pickup tomorrow morning. As far as there not being a flight into Houston, I have no clue. What about. Anywhere else in Texas?

So how do I find out if there is a flight from KY to Orlando after 99 lands this morning? What's the site folks are using to see the various connection options?

(I'm on this evening's flight as well, slated for delivery between 2:30 - 6:30PM on Wednesday.)
