Doesn't look good for the West Coast. Those flights are the earliest to depart from Louisville due to distance and headwinds, and will likely misconnect the inbound UPS 99. If yours is on this flight, you can at least look forward to Friday.
It would be a bitch to miss the Thursday night sort and have to wait until Monday!
Just want to make everyone aware, I received a very legit looking email from Apple today saying there was a problem with my phone. It turned out to be a phishing email and it seems others have gotten it as well.

I'm confused. My UPS tracking shows it left AK at 3:45, so what flight would it be on?

edit: and FYI it shows as on time according to google If I choose to believe google maybe my phone will get to me faster? lol
Drivers have to be back at the station at a specific time everyday, just so customers can pickup failed deliveries. Drivers get penalized if they don't, that's why you see them running around like nuts all day. Some customer service rep at the station tells you different so that they don't have a long line of customers going out the door. They know it's iPhone time and they will be three times more busy.Is that the answer you were given? Where do the drivers go? To their homes with all the iPhones left in the truck? That's crap, lol.
Did anyone answer this? I believe that its possible. I've done it before. But you will have to call them to really be sure. Good luck
So will it just sit there all night then? Hasn't done anything all day :
Maybe the phones are on a different flight, maybe one like http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS81/history/20130925/2322Z/PANC/KSDF
I have that too. According to the best info available (i.e. flight aware) the flight that brought the phones from Korea, UPS99, is not going to depart until 4:50 local which was about 15 minutes ago.
There are several UPS flights from Anchorage to Louisville and I suppose it is possible, because of the mechanical (I assume), they transferred some of the cargo that was time sensitive off UPS99 and on to UPS61 (left at 3:23), UPS81 (4:03) or UPS63 (4:41).
If the departure time of 3:45 is correct and a true departure, that would suggest the phone is actually on UPS61.
We shall see.
Is their any way of finding out? Mine says on time still but i'm assuming that doesn't really mean anything?
My guess is
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS61/history/20130925/2322Z/PANC/KSDF
based on a 3:45 departure time.

Not that I know of. Now if a nice and kind UPS employee could check the system they could give us a hint but the only sure way to know which plane would be when the arrival scan in SDF pops up.
Yup. It'll wait till the overnight sort and (hopefully!) be put on the correct flight out.
I just chatted with a nice lady at UPS HQ (probably in India lol) and she assured me that because my phone says delivery by Thursday (Upstate NY) and does not show a delay, it probably wasn't on UPS99![]()
Interesting.
BTW, UPS99 has just taken off. Flightaware is estimating it will arrive 3 hours late in SDF.
My UPS driver always gets here by 10am but of course, today it's 4:30 and he still hasn't showed up...I'm sure he's parked somewhere playing with my phones
