True iPhone enthusiasts that find their 5 or 5S models to their liking are best served via an iPhone 6. It seems that in an effort to own Apples flagship, many will find the rather monstrous iPhone 6 Plus too big.
The real problem is admitting they made a mistake with their choice, therefore I envision many hiding their dissatisfaction. Apple being an ego & vanity driven enterprise makes it nearly impossible for buyers to take ownership of their decision. Many will suffer, the courageous will downsize to an iPhone 6.
Another interesting aspect of iPhone 6 drama. Never a dull moment this new controversial huge iPhone is already a conversation piece, even if it is at Apples expense. The fodder of late night comics on TV, Apples got to love the attention.

Another member of the loud minority of users rambling on about how the iPhone 6 Plus is too big for anybody and people with courage have a 6. I mean like WTF? Small phone, big ego? Just because I love the 6 Plus and its form factor, I'm not courageous?
You know what I think? You envy the bigger screen, you can't let yourself say that, can't admit it, so you praise the iPhone 6 Minus. Period.
Also, I am an iPhone enthusiast by your definition, and I love my iPhone 6 Plus.
I'm not saying that to prove a point, I really love the big screen. Glad I don't have to put up with something cheap and small. (No offense to iPhone 6 owners except iososx, I get the portability factor.)
