1 week and its already in the toilet...

I always place my phone on the sink counter on the side away from the toilet. Not sure what the bathroom layout is, but I would think that a toilet paper roll that is above the toilet would be such an unsafe place to rest your phone upon.

Anyway, I'm glad your phone is still working.

yup exactly like that except it was a roll underneath. i assumed it was safe but i was wrong

its all good though, funny story and now i dont have to baby my phone. treat it like a normal item, if something goes wrong im covered so its not a big deal
 
oh why do people keep bringing their phones into the bathroom. i remember my dad did that once with his 3gs. he had to wind up buying a new one because it stopped charging and the sound was in and out.

You need a LifeProof case, I never had anything more that a simple sleeve on my phones from the 3G to the 4S, but decided to bite the bullet with my IP5.

This case Rocks and well worth the $80

watch the videos and if you get it make sure to water test it, no issues with mine and I have not been gentle with my case and phone, and the phone is perfect.

Yeah, it's threads like this that make me okay with being OCD. I never bring my phone into a bathroom because I'm afraid of germs. The upside is, I'm never dropping my phone in any toilet.

i dont need one tho lol

it was a freak accident and not a big deal, just thought it was thread worthy to amuse some of you and show some of you its smart to get applecare plus because things CAN happen. i would have been severely screwed had the phone stopped working and i didnt have it. $615 down the drain which i wouldnt be able to afford to do

I thinks its 250$ at the apple-store for a accidental replacement with no applecare+

I've had an iPhone from day 1. Never dropped, dinged or broken one. Ya'll need to learn to take care of your things.

Oh right, Now I understand, when you said it fell off a roll I assumed into the toilet bowl directly from the roller.

Wow. Why all the hate? I always browse on my iPhone or iPad while taking a dump. I love to read while using the bathroom. It's great.
