it was a freak accident and not a big deal, just thought it was thread worthy to amuse some of you and show some of you its smart to get applecare plus because things CAN happen. i would have been severely screwed had the phone stopped working and i didnt have it. $615 down the drain which i wouldnt be able to afford to do

Yeah I never bought Applecare before except on MBP's but I am thinking I will start on the iPhones. As they get more advanced and Apple is changing their policies I think they will push everyone to getting it, and it is far better than the insurance most carriers have, with the exception of theft and loss, everything from Apple is covered for $99.00 not a bad deal.

it was on the tank? behind the actual toilet and there was a new roll sitting there, its a bit curved and i assumed it was safe. it was laying flat and i left it there to wash my hands and face and 2 seconds later it fell right it.

phone is working just fine so it didnt do any damage. i got applecare plus so i dont care just thought id post. its just a phone but thank god i protected my investment. id be screwed since i paid $600+ from tmobile

I do find that strange. I'll have you know I once heard a ball drop to the floor. I don't know how it did that, but at the time I thought it was rather strange. There was no dog or human or perhaps even mechanical object (that was supposed to move) close enough to cause that ball to drop.
