The screen is still amazing. I don't know why it get excited when I open the App Store and I see apps get updated for the retina display. I don't like seeing pixels anymore.

Think of the iPad 3, as an iPad 2 on steroids. Lol. It fixes minor things that I hated on the iPad 2.
 
Yesterday at work I loaded a PDF of 11"x17" technical design drawings into GoodReader. These drawings contain a lot of information including text in fairly small type. I could read everything even with the sheet fully zoomed out. In fact, I could rotate to portrait which shrinks the drawing further, and STILL read everything. Granted the text was VERY small at that point, but my eyes were the limiting factor, not the screen.

Remember, I'm talking about a drawing formatted for an 11x17 sheet, not 8.5x11.

Now THAT is a sharp screen. And this shows how useful this added resolution can be for professional use.
