10.5.5 update does not fix diablo 2 problem

Still can't get the game to work after doing all of the following, installing diablo 2 (non expansion) to my computer, uploading the new patch blizzard came out with to play single player (which is all im looking forward too..). Now the patch said something along the lines of "Mac users will need to copy these music files and rename them to 'Diablo II Music' and 'Diablo II Expansion Music' respectively." the only problem is all the files in my diablo 2 folder i.e. diablo 2 sounds, will not open up.. am i missing something important here? i have visisted many forums and cant seem to find a similar problem.

other info...
- the diablo 2 game im installing is from the battle chest.
- purchased my mac book in october of 2008 (its all white)
-and yes i am computer stupid.. but at least i got starcraft to work.

Im looking forward to starting up a game in D2 since i have never played it b4.. (D1 junky back in the day)

Act V glitch

The beta of the X3100 patch looks like it works fine, but the game crashes anytime I try to bring a character into Act V. I noticed someone posted on the blizzard boards that they experienced this issue, and wanted to echo that I experienced it as well.

If you could fix this in the final version of the patch, I would greatly appreciate it, as I would love to play my old expansion characters, and would love to play more than just classic.
