10.5.7 may have gone gold

Its definitely going to be released this coming Monday! If not... well maybe there is a slight possibility that it could be released Tuesday, but not beyond Wednesday unless of course it releases Thursday or some weekday after that. Rest assured that it won't be released on Saturday nor Sunday :p
 
Looks like some people have extreme breath-holding skills here.

All I want is for .7 to come out so I can defrag my laptop drive.

My prediction: 10.5.7 will be released in * days. Now I can't be wrong.
 
Look everybody, listen to me. I have a very good odds to being right...

10.5.7 will be released sometime this year. Come on seriously, do we need several threads on this?

It merely requires proper conditioning. For instance, I have a BTO 15" Unibody MBP ordered within the first few weeks of FCS. Apparently it was delivered from China via donkey or some other kind of stubborn ass :D
 
I predict 10.5.7 will be released before Snow Leopard.

I could end up wrong, though...

No. Snow Leopard is the next evolution of OS 10. It is OS 10.6, Leopard is OS 10.5, Tiger was OS 10.4

iDefrag - not necessary with HFS+ systems, but I like being neat

10.5.7 is required for Sims 3. It's a free update like a mini-service pack for Windows.

iWork and iLife would definitely work. No one really knows what will be compatible until Apple releases some more info.
 
10.5.7 must be imminent. The Sims 3 game requires 'OS X 10.5.7 or newer' and since Sims 3 went gold and will start shipping soon - so must 10.5.7? ;)
 
Well, nothing today. Losing hope that it will even make it out by the end of May. I've been waiting on this one for a month and a half to format my Dell mini 9 as a hackintosh, but honestly Windows 7 has been performing so well that I may just leave it. My real Mac (MBP) doesn't have any problems and isn't "upgrade sensitive" like a hackintosh, so I really don't care about 10.5.7 for it.
