Yep for sure. One could just place it on EIP then pay it off on your next bill.
I printed and mailed the T-Mobile order confirmation, the EIP agreement .PDF that was emailed to me and the rebate form filled out. Here's hoping all goes through. I did this for my iPhone 6 last year, but I did it all in-store and the cash card was like $25.
On a side note I did email the membershipwireless company suggesting that it would be helpful to text or email us to confirm receipt of our mailed submission and/or receipt of our actual order once T-Mobile lets them know it was processed.
Thanks so much OP for this thread, I just ordered via Costco/T-Mobile the phone thanks to you!
Regarding the rebate, I am currently on Verizon and switching to T-Mobile with the new plan, do you think I can send in the rebate form now or do I need to wait to receive the phone first and activate it first since I do not have a plan now with T-Mobile?
The rebate form says" T-Mobile service must be active at time of redemption"... Not sure if that will get in the way?
