Does Contacts support Groups?

I hope this hasn't already been addressed. Does the Contacts now support Groups?

Not sure what version of Now Playing you tested but Now Playing v3.7 loads and runs fine on my 16GB iPhone 3G running 3.0 (7A341). I just tried it.

What do you mean? Didn't it support it before?

Also, now if you click on a Google Maps link it opens it on Safari and not on the Maps app.

You can send pictures to emails using the Messages application, just type in the email, input a message (if you want) and attach a picture.

Makes sense since that was always possible with MMS.

What do you mean? Didn't it support it before?

No.... It would support it through some other Apps. But if you had a Distribution List (Group) in Outlook, it would not be there as a group in you Contacts. It was supposed to have provisions for it, but don't. You can't create a Group, and add Contacts to it. It has a Group Tab, and will support Groups if added by other Apps, but you cannot directly create a Group, then add Contacts on you 2.2.1 OS. That is, unless someone knows a trick that I haven't found.

I have been hearing conflicting reports if 3.0 will allow a 3G to shoot video or not. Anyone know for sure if 3.0 will allow an iPhone 3G to record video, or is that a feature only for the 3Gs?

That feature is only for the 3G S.

Someone might have said these already, but I found a two Easter-Eggs in the new iPhone OS (3.0):

• You can swipe and hit delete on individual bookmarks in Safari
• You can now close the only open tab in Safari (it will open a blank page)

Calculator: Correct Last Digit

Minor stuff...

I thought it was an odd oversight that there was no "correct last digit" key on the Calculator. It's not like Apple to miss an obvious usability feature like that. Well, it turns out it has one: just swipe right across the display!

Was that always there or is it a 3.0 addition??
