S strausd macrumors 68030 Aug 24, 2010 #51 I got a 12-core with 20GB RAM. Have 4X4GB (OWC) and 4X1GB (Apple) and everything seems to be working fine. I will try and upgrade to 24GB soon, that way AE will be able to use all cores.
