Seriously, I am not that lucky to have Apple debut a new MacPro on my birthday. Would be nice, but can't see it. If anything, watch it be an announcement for it, shipping January 1st. But still, I have prepared myself for MacWorld. Not lucky enough for anything Apple to come out on 12/10.
 
Oh please let this rumor be true.
After tax and new year I can´t afford it.
So the 10th would be great for me.
 
Suspect

Our distributer down under says the official word from Apple is that there will be no new products this quarter. Although in saying that they also say off the record that Apple has gone against there word on rare occaisions. I hope they do! :cool:

If someone ever does have real news though and wanted to post it, I can see why they wouldn't though. Everyone picks apart everything someone says when they don't know anything themselves and makes the poster feel like crap. For instance this guy has told me this way before black friday and I never posted because of that reason.

How about just take everything as rumors and stop making posters who have been told stuff from people that MAY know something feel like crap.

just kidding though, and this is coming from the guy who's first post was about a mac employee telling my girl that the new mac pros would be coming out soon and be priced at $3349, aww man she fell for the oldest trick in the book!

Although people should chill on making a poster feel like crap, we are just trying to help and not being devious in any way, if I hear something I am going to post it and let people know, rumor or not...

no one cares about ur bday dude. apple dont care about ur birthday either.

theres a chance it might get released on the 10th, although they probably wont.

one random person making a guess shouldn't be called a "rumor".

Just think what would happen if MacRumors posted every single thing they heard without any discrimination. Oh, yeah, I forgot - that's what these forums are for! ;)

until you've posted at least 1500 times you're a complete liar EVERY time regardless of any other circumstances...

in fact steve jobs watches the post counts on here and shares the real truth with the +1500 club...

really..i promise...he told me so..

and before you go nuts saying i believe this guy...i dont but you really need to get over your protectiveness just because you've been around for longer...
 
So it's not really a smart idea to accept a NIB PowerMac 2.66GHZ as payment for services since a new one is right around the corner?

Can we assume that whatever the new PowerMac lineup is, the lowest end will be more powerful than the current 2.66GHZ config and cheaper as well?
