4.3 Jailbreak?

The official 4.3 has been out for an hour now and people already whining

Ingrateful users.... Why don't you develop the jailbreak and release instead of waiting? What makes you entitled to their work?
we are allowed to moan after what happened last time, with the so called boot rom jailbreak that never was in the for they lead us to believe
And? What still makes you entitled? Did you work on it? Have you contributed to the knowledge?
That's why the Dev team never releases any updates on the progress of the jailbreak and/or unlock, because of people like you.

will someone explain how the SHSH works?
I have my 4.2.1 for iphone 4 which finally uploaded to cydia after a few days. I still don't quite get what the point is though. I know it makes it so if I brick it I can restore it? or is that not right
does that mean I can restore my iphone right now to my backed up copy via itunes (unjailbroken), then install 4.3.... then wait however many days/weeks it takes for the new update to come out, and then jailbreak it again?
At what point does that SHSH help? is that if i jailbreak it, then try to update it without restoring it and then mess it up somehow?
