Updated Ultrasn0w 1.2.1 just released!! Fixes 4.3.1 Signal Bars on old BB!!!!!

I've got my mates 3Gs on iPad baseband but still got no signal bars but can use Internet on it at good speed.
Anyone else having issues after installing ultrasn0w with AT&T? It seems to lose the carrier settings and reseting them does not solve the problem.
Because when I upgrade my iphone my previous one always goes to my brother who is on prepaid t-mobile. So I preserve the BB and needed the signal bar fix.
I'm on At&T. I updated preserving my older baseband incase of a new unlock that can unlock 02.10.04. I was getting 1 bar. Even though it didn't unlock my baseband it fixed the 1 bar issue.
Mine seems to be working fine after installing the new ultrasnow, bars are back and 3g network is working.
Ultrasn0w is used to unlock the phone so it can be used with other carriers. If you are with AT&T, you do not need to install ultrasn0w.
Understood, but due to preserving the BB I had the issue with the signal bar being stuck at one bar. I got the data working again but now have the SMS app crashing...

The new release of ultrasn0w fixes the signal bar issue for those of us who choose to preserve an old baseband version. It therefore is useful for non-unlockers too.

anyone know why my mates 3Gs with ipad baseband shows no signal bars. Calls and texts do not work, however the Internet does.

Just installed this even though I'm on AT&T and have no need for an unlock right now. It seems to have killed my visual voicemail (haven't gotten a chance to test MMS yet either). Looks like they need to update it again to fix this problem. I'm uninstalling ultrasn0w - my visual vm is much more important that my signal strength being displayed correctly.
I seem to remember this being an issue in the past with ultrasn0w - it's a shame they haven't figured it out yet.

That's whats worrying me too.
I dont want to lose MMS or VV.
Im surprised they dont have a different isolated fix just for this issue with the bars without installing ultrasnow when on official carrier.
I am on AT&T after installing the bar fix. MMS and visual voicemail is working OK.

What baseband? I'm 4.3.1 with 02.10.04 baseband. I just tested sending myself a MMS and left myself a voicemail and both worked.
Anyone else on AT&T with a Microcell and on 1.59.00 baseband? I downloaded Ultrasn0w to fix the bars - and was having signal issues - but it seemed only when on the Microcell. It would have full bars one moment - and then 'No Service' the next.

I'm on 4.3.1 with the 01.59.00 baseband and I left myself two voicemails with ultrasn0w installed and neither one of them popped up. I uninstalled ultrasn0w and when I rebooted or resprung (can't remember which one it did), the voicemails popped right up.
Can someone else on at&t with 4.3.1 and 01.59.00 please test out leaving yourself a voicemail with ultrasn0w installed and let me know if your voicemail pops up?

I fail to understand why anyone who doesn't need an unlock would then use this unlock and then complain about it?
You are either using att and don't need to unlock or you don't. There should be no discussion about visual voicemail here. Don't like the unlock? Then don't use the unlock.

There are those of us with 02.10.04 baseband who are preserving our baseband waiting for the next unlock. Ultrasn0w fixes the 1 bar issue though it does not unlock.
