The rMB just don't have the performance, the MBA doesn't have Retina, and the MBP doesn't have the portability/lightness. This is very hard to wait. I desperately need an upgrade, but I can't stomach buying any of the MacBooks without seeing first how the new lineup is revamped. The rMB and MBA need to merge into one, or they need to release a rMBA! :)

Just in case you missed it... (video of the year last year)

Apple Engineer talking about the Retina Macbook:

Someone should really redo the text for the iPad pro.

$1100, no USB ports, no kick stand, no pencil and a mobile OS or $1350 with pencil and case - suddenly the 1.2 GHz 512 GB MacBook at $1300 doesn't seem so bad after all! :)

The Macbook also doesn't have a working keyboard..... The MBp 13 inch is easily as portable as the 13 inch Air

The iPad Pro is $799 by itself not $1100.....

Looks like Best Buy has the deal out there again. Saw three get sold tonight when I was in there.

This computer is far more attractive at $999, but still far from worth it IMHO. The only good choice for me is to just wait and see what the updates bring. Everything else is either underpowered or old at this point.
