Normal happens to me in safari sometimes, stutter is gone, what we’re seeing now is a animation bug.

If ill be honest... normally rarley stutters... for me its not 100% fixed... as it should be.
Can i swap iphone 12 pro if i don't have any apple vendor in my country ?.

Use two days to report that IOS 14.5 was smooth on the whole, stuttering was indeed reduced, but I saw it once after using it for two days, but the feeling was not too obvious, and it was acceptable. I hope I don't see any more stuttering.

I see the stutter every time I open or close an app (well more like go back to the homescreen) it feels like the animations runs at 10 fps, I just think those animations make the phone feel sluggish, apple needs to change them and also maybe speed them up by 0.25x or 0.5x I bet that would make the phone feel considerably faster!

Have you updated to iOS14.5? The situation has improved, but I still feel a little stutter. Use it for about two weeks, there was a few stuttering and going to the multitasking screen. Sometimes it's quick to go back to the home screen, sometimes it's slow. It stutters without a regular pattern. Whether it is official software or third-party software. It is very disturbing.

Im on iOS 14.5 (iPhone 12, 64GB) and the stutter is definitely NOT gone. When i swipe up to go to home screen it sometimes stutters and the app switcher appears OR it goes to homescreen after the stutter. 😭

So it turns out that the problem of stuttering is not completely solved. It just happens less often than before.

I cannot and won’t speak for everyone. All I will say is that, for me, I see no stuttering at all and have not seen the problem where I get the App Switcher when I wanted to go back to the home screen. So it doesn’t happen less often for me. It doesn’t happen at all. I’ve been on 14.5 for several weeks.

No stuttering either on mine: iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Interesting. For me it is like I didnt have the stutter before 14.5 or VERY rare (once every month).
Now with 14.5 I had it three times in the last 3 days.
On the other hand the overall experience is a little bit smoother (it was not smoth before 14.5).

So it's a strange thing.

Right now I am using a purple iPhone 12 , so yeah it came out of the box running iOS 14.5 and with those laggy/stuttery open/close app animations out of the box

Ditto. Has gone from several, several times a day for me to zero with 14.5.

Like others have said. I used to see this prior to 14.5 and after that update it’s completely gone. Hopefully I don’t ever see it again lol

My personal feeling is that the stuttering problem is still there, but it has improved, not as much as before. It might have happened 10 times a day before, but now it might happen every few days. Overall fluency has improved a lot, but stuttering remains a concern.
