The league has been broken down into 4 divisions with each containing three teams:

iMac Division: Moyank24, mscriv, and steviem​

Mac Pro Division: miles01110, Jaffa Cake, and rdowns​

MacBook Division: The Californian, swiftaw, and TwinCities Dan​

Mac mini Division: ECUpirate44, einmusikerThe.316, and MacNut​

We will play a 13 week season followed by a 3 week playoff to determine a League Champion. 6 of the 12 teams will make the playoffs. Those 6 teams will include the 4 Division winners and two wildcard teams. The two teams that end the season with the best records will earn a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

Please read all rules at the league website to ensure that you understand how the league works. I will be happy to answer all questions as they are posted in the thread.

Some of the basics:
- Our league is a PPR League(Point Per Reception League)
- Teams rosters are 16 players, you will start 9 players each week and have 7 bench players with two IR spots (Injured Reserve)
- Starters include 1QB, 2RBs, 3WRs, 1TE, 1Team Def, 1Kicker
- Tiebreakers will be determined by the team with the highest WR score total (the sum of all 3WRs score for the day)
- Trades are allowed after the draft is over and up until the trade deadline in November. The League Manager has veto power over any trades that are deemed unbalanced or collusion.

The Draft order is as follows:
  1. swiftaw
  2. TwinCities Dan
  3. The Californian
  4. moyank24
  5. steviem
  6. mscriv
  7. Jaffa Cake
  8. miles01110
  9. rdowns
  10. ECUpirate44
  11. MacNut
  12. einmusikerThe.316

We need to finalize a draft date and time.

I hope you all are as excited as I am. We always have a good time doing this. Welcome to the newbies this year and welcome back to the veterans who have played in one of my leagues before. Let's have some fun. :)

Truly, we're at the cutting edge of fantasy sport stuff. :cool:

I mentioned it in t'other thread before it was iOSified but I think it bears repeating here – in terms of draft timings the evenings of the 26th-28th should be good from my point of view – that works out as mid-late afternoon USian time.

Incidentally, given that mscriv is running teams in both Leagues we ought to get together with the iOS folk and arrange our respective drafts to run at the same time. That'll mess with his head. :D
 
Okay, the only people yet to join the league are TwinCities Dan, rdowns, and steviem. Everyone else is in.

For the draft, I'm looking at 2:00 PM Central Standard Time next Sunday August 21st. Let me know if you are in or out for that time.

I don't know what you're talking about. Of course that's Sunday. :D

Hey, if you are not using your MR username as your team's name then please post your team name here in the thread so it won't get confusing for people who only know you by your MR handle.
 
So... *works out time difference* that would be 8pm Jaffa time. Shouldn't be a problem for me, but I'll let you know if that changes

My band of grubby oiks should be familiar to some of our players who took part in another of mscriv's Leagues last season. Just make sure all your players have had their shots before our match up takes place.
