Spawning off the other thread, choose your gender and which color iPhone you have or are getting.
 
White, male.

This is like the 5th thread I've been on that has to do with this, but it's really fun!
 
I'm male and am getting a white one.

Funny thing is I've spoken to my girlfriend about it and asked her if she wanted the phone if I were to then get a Nexus Prime and prefer it to the iPhone and she said she would prefer it in black which isn't something I expected. :confused:
 
People are thinking too hard about this.
Just get whatever you like, jeez. I've seen, like, 20 billion of these threads just today.
 
I really don't understand why people are so bothered about this male / female, white / black debate!

It's like people need reassurance that there will be other guys out there that will be carrying round the white one too.

If you're that bothered, you need to stick to the black!

Personally, I'm male - and I have the white 4 and have ordered the 4s in white too.
Because it is the better colour in my opinion.

Couldn't care less if a girl or guy was rocking the same colour.
At the end of the day, there's gonna be thousands (millions?) of people with the same colour as you!
 
I really don't get the obsession either. I think it's fun to see what people like and are buying, but it's not like we're comparing a hot pink phone with a black one. Black and white are both classy and simple. Buy what you like and enjoy!!

Only a girl with a white iPhone would spell color "colour" :D
 
i have a black..

but wanted the white. didnt consider it to be worth almost a year of waiting, just for another color..

i sorta prefer the black now though, because it just looks better with my alu macbook air

Quite surprised that theres more males buying the black than white. I thought white was really popular for the 4S, then again...it is real close!

I don't care if "white's for girls!", I love the white iPhone.
 
I got a white 32gb 4GS, my wife is getting a black 32gb 4GS.

I also have a white kindle, she has a black kindle.

Right now we only have one iPad, but you can see where this will be going.

  1. It doesn't float my boat (I personally find it to be very feminine - so does my wife)
  2. I don't like how the proximity sensor is visible
 
I think white will be the more popular colour this time over - whoever you are. There were so many people that were cheesed off that the white iPhone didn't come out on launch last year.

Don't remember people debating this when the iPod came out.. not sure too many people were worried about using a white device (even when the black version came out).

Fair enough! :) I agree about the proximity sensor being visible but I disagree about it not floating my boat :D I love it BUT everyone is entitled to their our opinions and choices. Enjoy your black iPhone ;)

I can see the proximity sensor very clear on my black 3GS. Not sure about the i4 or 4S.

First iPhone ever, Only iPod touch I had was the first one.

Was going to get white but I realized it looks absurd in most cases and could get very dirty very easily... I also have a thing for sleek black electronics.
