Ive been thinking about whether or not i should use a case on my 4S when it comes in Friday. Ive been reading the other threads but none of the cases people posted have convinced me. Anyone have good suggestions on a case or skin...or should i not use a case at all? Input from people who went naked on the 4 would be great too

go naked. if you need something for your pocket, get a send ultra slim.

going naked on mine.

Have iphone 4 in white and every time i use cases it scratches the antenna and camera lens

Full-body cases seem kind of pointless. I've had my 4 for over a year and the glass is still not scratched; however, it is cracked from the one time I dropped it.

That's why I'm thinking of getting a black bumper for my white 4s. It preserves the aesthetics(unlike a full body case), while at the same time it gives some peace of mind by protecting against nasty drops.

thats another reason. i would definitely stay as far away from a bumper as possible!

Im still debating (white 64gig on the way), but i know its either gonna be naked or with a power support crystal on the front and back

yeah I can't quite decide on whether or not I would like to cover it or not. I was using the cheap clear plastic case on my black i4 from the case program. I didn't like the way it looked, but I literally managed to drop it once on every corner in the 13 and a half months I owned it. Without that case losing its own chunks, I woulda lost chunks of phone.

actually am VERY surprised at how a few of my friends have their iphone 4's in mint condition having it naked since day one. besides minor scratches on the antenna, my white iphone 4 has no sratches at all on the front or back of it

My vote is just staying naked. Plus i use a universal remote device for it and docking it a lot. having a case you dont know if whatever you plug into your 30 pin device will fit or not

thanks for the input guys. I'm kinda leaning on going case less with a front and back protector for scratches. Would you say the power support film is the way to go?

I would rather carry around a small infant one-handed than carry an iPhone without a case.

White iPhone black bumper. No screen protection.

I've had a bumper from day 1, matte screen protector and a carbon fiber skin for the back. Needless to say the phone is in mint condition.

I'm more concerned about the camera lens getting scratches and degrading the picture quality.

if i had a white iphone, i'd definitely want to cover it up with a case.

but since i'm a guy and ordered a black one, no need for a case.

I got this for now from Marshalls. Jelly Belly black licorice.

$3

What a scent it is!

I'm going naked with my iPhone 4S. I just can't stand cases making an object bulkier than it has to be. Plus it is a nice looking phone.

Anyone used a bumper on their iPhone 4? Reviews?
I used a case all year with my iPhone 4 and it scratched up the metal band, screen and back were perfect though.
so I'm thinking that I just want a bumper...

Bumpers are pretty good but they don't protect the back much.

The white ones turn yellow or gray in about 2 weeks. Yuck.
