I was just about to install this. Any more details on the System setting problem? Where was this reported? Other than hearing this, I've not seen any other problems.
Someone reported this too:
"Has anyone else found that System Settings > General > About doesn't work any more?" #64
#43

Please people who installed 13.5.1 report if you get the same errors, Thanks 💗

If not we could play #64 and #43 @ the lottery LOL

about and search seems to be working fine, for now
Tested on M1 MPB and iMac 15.1 (OCLP), both on macOS 13.5.1
No observations with About.
Settings Search seemed to work normally at first, but after entering a few terms and switching between Settings tabs a bit, I was able to generate a situation where Search just did not react to search terms anymore. Worked again after restart of Settings - so at a quick glance, it doesn't look like any neckbreakers like the missing Location Services to worry about, but the System Settings still seem glitchy, even in this late 13.5.1 release.

It's already glitchy in 13.4.1c... maybe is the c..
Thanks for reporting it!

To be honest, I think Ventura’s System Settings has always had issues. I never really liked the new interface, which for me has only made it harder to find the setting you’re looking for compared to the old System Preferences. The UI/UX is so iOS-like and not very suitable for macOS in my opinion.

One Example is this strange hidden “alert” I discovered a while ago while I was messing around with Screen Time :)

I agree. Ventura's System Settings have always been slow to respond IMO. Could be better. That aside...I took the leap and just updated to 13.5.1. Took 1:15 in total time on a 2019 Intel iMac. Updates always take a long time. So far, nothing negative to report. I don't normally use Settings' search feature, but it seems to be OK as is About. Importantly, Location Services is back and populated just like it was prior to 13.5. Sigh of relief. I relied on this Mr. Macintosch site for update info as well as this Forum. Thanks to all for their input.
. He has some good stuff.

Hmm, it is indeed turned on, and not one app is listed.

Basic stuff like this should not be broken in a major operating system. I hope 13.5.1 actually fixes this, and I hope Sonoma doesn't break it again. Location Services is a necessity these days.

This also happens in Edge, of course, which is not surprising since it's Chrome's annoying little brother (even if it's just a macOS issue, need to get a browser dig or two in). ;)

This is the only fix in 13.5.1. Sonoma is not affected.

I thought Sonoma OS 14 was the next update in Beta 6....not a 13.6 update.

And they've broken Location Services again in the Developer Beta of 13.6 released today (build 22G109)!
Jcscol...do you know if this has been fixed in the Beta or will it still be "broken" in the final 13.6? I'd hate to wait for Sonoma and hope all these lingering 13.5.1 issues are then fixed. I have not seen any indication that Apple is aware of this 13.6 Beta problem exists. Have you? Thanks.
