Bronze?! What would Apple have called it? Shiny poop? Not loving the 13 Pro colors. Was hoping for bronze not pastel blue. Is anyone else disappointed?

What does BMW call their bronze/metallic brown color? LOLBronze?! What would Apple have called it? Shiny poop?
Because the popular culture perception is that bright, saturated colors mean “toys”.Still don't understand why product red is never in the pro models....
Well said. Actually it means it’s cheapBecause the popular culture perception is that bright, saturated colors mean “toys”.
Yep, having said that, Midnight Green > every other iPhone colourThe new blue colour is nice, 8/10.
The iPhone 12 pro's Pacific Blue was wonderful - 10/10.
Why would they not let us have a black color for the pros? And with all this hullabaloo over “cinematic video”, and portraying this phone as something you can make professional films with, not having a black version is ridiculous. Has anyone ever seen a baby blue camera on a set? I haven’t. On sets you do see a lot of black though, black cameras, black lighting, black everything, black gaffe tape, I’ve never seen a shiny baby blue camera on any set anywhere.
I disagree, this update is better than going from 11 Pro to 12 Pro. Now you get a smaller notch and 120HZ ProMotion.I know people will defend Apple, and Apple themselves will defend their colour choices but..come on!
Apple will know more than anyone that this year's offerings are probably the smallest incremental updates across a range in the history of iPhone, the least they could have done is introduced new and appealing colours for both the 13 and 13 Pro.
"Starlight" looks exactly the same shade as "White" from last year. Pink will appeal to very few. The new blue colour for the Pro looks okay, but where are the new and interesting colours? Matte black would have sold a ton, even that rumoured bronze colour would have been interesting, or a new purple or green. They literally chose the only exclusive Pro colour from last year and just made it lighter.
Apple really missed a trick here.
11 Pro -> 12 Pro was an entirely new form factor and introduced 5G, larger screen, LiDAR, MagSafe and Ceramic Shield. There is no way going from a 12 Pro -> 13 Pro is a bigger update than that just because it has a fractionally smaller notch and 120Hz - the impact of which is often subjective (I can't notice a major difference myself). It's just because we're used to the 12 Pro now that the 13 Pro seems new a shiny (ish).I disagree, this update is better than going from 11 Pro to 12 Pro. Nah, nobody asked for a bigger screen(I prefer a smaller device, hence why I have the 12 mini), 5G was inevitable. No biggie.11 Pro -> 12 Pro was an entirely new form factor and introduced 5G, larger screen, LiDAR, MagSafe and Ceramic Shield. Still, as an incremental update the 12 Pro is a bigger jump in features/spec from an 11 Pro than a 12 Pro is to a 13 Pro. Just because 5G was inevitable doesn't mean it wasn't a big jump. I don't know what world you're living in where taking a few mm's off the size of a notch is a notable feature.Nah, nobody asked for a bigger screen(I prefer a smaller device, hence why I have the 12 mini), 5G was inevitable. Smaller notch/ProMotion > LiDAR/Magsafe
I totally agree. This update is more like an S, it should have been a 12s. Not 13.I know people will defend Apple, and Apple themselves will defend their colour choices but..come on!

Taking off a few millimetres makes all the difference though, that's why everyone is waiting for the new 14" MBP with smaller bezels. Also ProMotion will easily be the most noticeable difference between 11 Pro/12 Pro and 13 Pro.Still, as an incremental update the 12 Pro is a bigger jump in features/spec from an 11 Pro than a 12 Pro is to a 13 Pro. All I'll say is, go on Apple's website and go to the comparison page so you can remind yourself of how different the 12 Pro was from the 11 Pro and how little an upgrade the 13 Pro is from the 12 Pro.Taking off a few millimetres makes all the difference though, that's why everyone is waiting for the new 14" MBP with smaller bezels. So Apple is somehow fine all these years with their products falling into this category? Sure its not the "pro" model, but there have been product red iphones and ipds, etc, long before there was the pro distinction.Because the popular culture perception is that bright, saturated colors mean “toys”.
