iPhone 13 Pro 13 Pro Colors Underwhelming

It’s going to definitely scratch and you’ll be buffing out those scratches daily. I’ve had the silver and it’s annoying
I have the silver, and I love it. Since there is no coloured coating, deep scratches doesn't leave shiny bare metal where the coloured layer isn't covering. Holds up much better in my opinion if you're going caseless.

Well, I don't use a case and of course this kind of argumentation is not logical. There are transparent cases too. Many people also take their iPhones out of the case sometimes. Color does matter (on an iPhone!)
I am honestly happy for you if this is the way that works for you. :)

I just realized I was stressing myself much too much about which iPhone color is the best to choose in recent years. In the end I even forgot which color it was while stuck in its case. The transparent cases, esp. for iPhone 12/13 look awful in my opinion - again everyone likes something else and it's good there is choice.

For me it was a very reliving realization that it's fine to stop stressing about which color option is the best as I barely ever see it. And maybe this is something others can relate to. :)

Yeah….when they added the white circle and stripe on the Apple clear cases fo the 12/13….to cover the magnet….it really too away from the look. Still, I like to see the phone vs having it covered in a case, so I’ll go transparent😊

I always use my iPhone naked and I have a Fitbag pooch to carry it. Every time I use it, it is with no case. Never had a single scratch.

Great this works for you. You seem able to handle the iPhone much more carefully than I am. :)

I went case-less for the 3GS and 4S. Started using cases with the 6S for extra grip. Less scratches is a nice bonus. Plus I like to believe, during dozens of accidental drops I had over the years, the case helped avoid dents and broken glass.

My current daily driver, a beautiful space gray 12 Pro Max felt much too slippery when I received it. So it instantly went into a case. From which i only took it out I belive twice in the past 10 months.
So for any future iPhone purchase, personally I won't spend more than 5 minutes contemplating about color options. I can still waste the same amount of time thinking about case color options… 😅

Man would have loved to have seen a green I phone 13 pro max but I guess I'll just get the blue and put a green case on it 😢😢😢😢
That's what I did last year. Hoped for the green 12 Pro Max.
Got the space gray and put on the green Apple case. No regrets.

The Sierra Blue is pretty but it doesn't "wow" me. Maybe it will look better in person, but then again, I will slap a case on it and rarely take it out so it doesn't matter much to me.

My exact thoughts. I'm still leaning towards the Blue but I'm not like "WOAH" when I see it.

It goes to show how nice it was back when they had live events and the bloggers got to see and do their own hands on videos as soon as the keynote concluded. That was always helpful when deciding between the colors offered.
I didn't even remember they used to have these, now I'm even more annoyed that I have to pre-order before knowing what the color will look like in real life. 🙄

The blue is nice looking, but I was hoping for a green color similar to the leather wallet. If I were to buy currently it would probably be silver or starlight, depending on if I were to pro or not.

Call me crazy but I’m actually thinking of skipping iPhone 13 altogether just because there’s no matte black. The SS glossy finish is just a poor choice of finish. I thought they knew what most of us wanted.

I cannot think of seeing anyone carry an iPhone without a case I don't think - I used to care about colour somewhat, but for what reason, I cannot remember. We all have a case for our iPhones don't we?

Instead of slippery, maybe they should make iPhones a bit thicker and with a durable cover coating "built in".
Haven’t had a case on my phones for years now. I always ensure I have a solid grip on my phone if it’s not in my pocket or bag, and if it gets accidentally dropped/scratched, I’ll just deal with it, or get a new one. 🤷🏼

But, that’s my use-case scenario. Others have more dramatic lifestyles that necessitate such protection.

Is it wrong to order two phones and send one back? I’m undecided on the Starlight 13 or Silver 13 Pro Max.

I’m only going to take them outta the box and see what they look/feel like in person. I won’t even take the protective sticker off the screen.

I have this strange neurosis that I’m depriving someone a brand new phone 😅
I assume you aren't using a case?
