White. Just looks nicer to me. Original Apple color and tired of decades of black (read dark, dreary looking) electronics.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B176 Safari/7534.48.3)

Black as i've got black iphone 4. And it doesnt disturb while watching tv.

I've owned every iPad in black and I see no reason to change for my 3rd one. Black it is again.

White to me is so cheesy. I got a black, can't be more neutral than that.

Navy leather smart cover. It's going to be a long 9 days...

I tried white last year and it really freaked me out. I won't try again!

It looks amazing on the images, but in my home the white looked yellow.

Going from Black 32 iPad 2 to a Black 64 LTE have a white iPhone 4s so I get the best of both worlds.

I voted for the black iPad because I think black looks professional and I prefer the color black over white.

Black for me, white for my wife.

That fact aside, it's interesting how she always borrows mine for movies. The white bezel is distracting for video's, movies, or reading. It stands out too much. The black is unnoticeable.

But I'm not one to care what it "looks like" as an object. I care how it functions, and if it does what I need it to do.

Personally I couldn't live with a white one.

Black. I plan on using for my video production business to show off my work and the black one is easier to ignore when watching the video.

This is my first iPad and I chose the iPad with Wi-Fi 16GB - Black :)

I chose black because I though it would be less distracting when viewing movies and images. I also ordered a Smart Cover in Dark Grey.

I always think that the white one looks amazing on the website, but whenever I see it in an apple store I just don't like the look of it. So I managed to resist the good lookingness of the new white iPad on the website and order me a black one.

I had the white iPad 2 and decided to get black this time around but as I was ordering I chose white again and I don't know why...

Black iPad 1, 2 and now iPad 3. I read books on my iPad and think that white would be distracting. Same thing goes for movies ---too darn distracting. I sold my iPad 2 with its black cover. This time I'm going to get a blue or purple cover to change it up.

i ordered black, but seems like Apple is pushing white - most of the pic and videos on apple.com show the white model. i wonder which color is more popular in the used market...
