As the title says. I want to see if there are many people who went with 16gb as I've ordered 16 gigs as well and wondering if return to Apple Store on a launch day...

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B176 Safari/7534.48.3)

I plan to use this everything. So, I opted for the 64.

I decided on 64gb since I had around 24gb full on my iPad 2 (32gb) and didn't want to reach the limit on this iPad.

1. I ordered a 16GB to replace my existing 16GB iPad2 at 00:30 on the 8th
2. I installed 5.1 on my iPad2 and for the first time ever it complained about lack of space (iLife apps getting bigger I think)
3. I didn't want to uninstall anything
4. Slept
5. Woke up, cancelled order for 16GB and ordered 32GB. Thank goodness for lots of pre-order stock this year!

Man, I'm going to do same thing! When the iPad will come home I'll return it in Apple Store and immediately get 32 gigs version.

Results of that poll are getting pretty interesting! Seems there are lesser people with 16 gb.

32 GB. I currently have a 32 GB iPad 2, and lack of space has never been a problem. Probably because I don't have that many movies on it. I currently have 11,5 GB free, with WIRED occupying most space weighing in on 2,8 GB.

I don't know if I'll really need more than 16 GB, but I went with 32. Along with minimizing the need to manage content, I figure with all the high res stuff, that will increase file size.

What the heck do all you guys do with 64GB on an iPad? Store an endless amount of porn vids?

Now that I think about it, it's actually a good idea for on the go.

Porn takes up a lot of GBs

And it's great for plane trips

I have owned two 64 ipad1's and went to 32 for the ipad 2...it has always been the perfect size for me - I store a movie or two, 2000 songs and about 40 keynote presentations..and have 10 G left....

got a 32 white LTE coming...

My iPad1 was a 16GB and I uninstalled a lot. When I got the iPad2, I decided on 32GB. That has worked well for me so that's what I pre-ordered for this one.

I am torn! This is my first. I got my first iPhone in November and took the 32gb as I had about 12gb on my 1G Touch. Figured with GPS maps and stuff I'd go over the 16gb. Of course I haven't yet but I know I haven't tapped the potential of the phone yet either.

Now with the iPad, I'm sure the 16gb will be too small so I was planning on 32gb (cellular version and boy have I gone back and forth on that too! It just kills me to spend money). Well my bday is next weekend and my bf told me he really wants to chip in on this..... so I can certainly afford the 64gb now! (I still hate to spend money though!)

I am so excited about this. I am sure I'll be storing photos on it, not sure about how many movies or even music (I still have my old Touch and 3rd Gen iPod sitting in docks). Really hoping Adobe comes out with a vector editor that can actually work with Illy files (does Photoshop Touch work with regular PS files?)

So I dunno, I could probably squeeze by with the 32gb for awhile but I'd hate to run out of space!

My thing is I've got 2 amex gift cards and some cash I've saved up, so I haven't even ordered it yet. <sigh>

(did I mention I hate to spend money?????) lol

I originally ordered the 32GB, but decided to upgrade to the 64 GB. My first iPad was 16GB and I was constantly managing space. Since I sold my iPad and was applying $400 to the new iPad, I figured I would splurge and make sure I never run out of space. After seeing how some of Apple's apps have practically doubled in size with their latest update, I'm glad I did.

64GB for me. My iPad 2 is a 64GB model and I'm already running out of space. I wish they were offering a 128GB model as I would buy that. I have most of my music on there even though I also have it on my iPhone. I also have quite a fee digital copies of movies from iTunes and loads of apps and quite a few magazines and books.

16GB. I've survived on 4GB and 8GB. 16GB is plenty for me...only sync what i use frequently.
