I had 14.1 on an XR and switched to a 12 with 14.2. Found the same random auto disconnect on this brand new iphone 12. This is a really irritating problem and only "fixed" by shutting down and rebooting.

Anyone else with a similar issue?

I had issues for years. Ended up with new router. No issue now. Was happening mostly with iPhone X.

I would use Airplane mode, turn off cellular, only enable the 5Ghz side Now I finally get the full download bandwidth, consistent all the time. No getting dropped at 3PM every day.

Was afraid I was putting good money into a flawed model and that Netgear and their firmware for Wi-Fi 6. The AX45 is solid gold for nearly a month.

Issues popped up mud way throw iOS 24 beta and Private Address while using VPNs. No issue with that either. Even when vpn server is hundreds of miles away.

While troubleshooting I relaid all coax and cat6e cable, replaced some, went back to older, slow, router I keep around. Putting all my older printers on LAN instead of wifi too.

Interference from appliances - heard old TV can be to blame.

But resetting network prefs and forgetting then add back was no help?

I doubt it's the router/mesh as all my other devices are happily downloading near gig speeds.

But here's something I experienced before: the wifi disconnection seems to happen after the iphone has been physically distant from the wifi system and then returns back to the system. There seems to be something about the gap in the handover from cell system to the wifi system.
