I loaded iOS 16.3 today and when using the camera in the house, mainly with ProRAW, I noticed that the Deep Fusion process takes just a little longer than with 16.2. It looks like the camera processing has been adjusted some and may have improved as well. HEIC files look good also. I haven’t taken any shots outside yet, so I’ll test tomorrow. I noticed that the highlights in either format (ProRAW or jpeg or HEIF) look better and aren’t blown out prior to any edits. I’m curious how your photos look if you tested or noticed anything new. I’ve already updated both of my iPhones to 16.3 so I can’t compare. I did notice these subtle differences though. Things like this catch my attention since I study it so closely. Let me know if you notice the same behavior or slightly better improvement in image quality.
