15.7.6 update today

Today the 15.7.6 installer is available from settings, couldn’t find the full installer though

I am on the Sequoia Beta, and I was offered an update a few days ago. Finally did the update tonight.
Security was the cited reason for the update.

Old = 15.7.6 (24G707)

New = 15.7.6 (24G711)

So far, no smoke. 🙂

Oh Cool. Thanks! I see 15.7.7 sitting in there now. Will install it now.

I mentioned this iin the 26.5 beta thread, figured I should mention it here as well:

The 26.5 beta (third beta) requires 15.7.6 on Macs connecting to it for (at least) ssh and Screen Sharing to work. File sharing works without going to 15.7.6, but that's all I found before installing 15.7.6 fixes the networking issues.

If you are on the Beta channel, there is a new Sequoia 15.7.7 update available.

Old = 15.7.7 (24G716)

New = 15.7.7 (24G718)

The full installer for macOS beta 15.7.7 (24G718) is now available on the Public Beta Channel, the link is different from the Developer Beta Channel.

I have noticed that since my update to 15.7.7 (24G718), when I turn on my power strip, my Studio now powers on automatically. The option to start up automatically after a power failure is not set. Goning to play with this a bit.

Software update popped up an update to Sequoia 15.7.7 24G720 today. On the Developer's beta program.
No issues so far.

I had the notification for the 15.7.7 24G720 update also, and just installed it. Also had a prompt for a Safari update.

Safari is now at version 26.5 (20624.2.5.18.2)

This!

One of the main reasons I'm not keen on mixing my OS's anymore.

I was thinking I'd 'test' the 26.x thing on my M4 MBAir, but, well...

Homepod Mini is on 26.x, but "that's all".
