Keep blaming the options and not the price of the product.Another misjudgment like the 14 plus? Too many options in the lineup?
There is so much that's wrong with that from an economic/business and marketing standpoint that its incredible. I honestly thought you weren't being serious.Yup. Terrible to have one configurable model as opposed to 35 models.
Apparently, you take 3rd party reports as fact.Another misjudgment like the 14 plus? Too many options in the lineup?
One can only hope you are fishing for gullible bait.Instead of Pro and Air and all of this, just make one laptop model, have options for screen size, hard drive, CPU, etc.
Have you lost your marbles? The lineup is a bit of a mess at the moment.
13 Macbook pro (with Touch Bar)
13 MacBook air
14 MacBook pro
15 MacBook Air
16 MacBook pro
Every bit as portable as any 13" unless of course your back pack is 14.5" wide open.doesnt surprise me . 15 just is not portable. Totally ridiculous product. The Air name should be reserved for 10-13 inch devices. Not 15.
Yep, specially in poor countries, that $400 computer will be $600 in most countries besides USA and that $1200 Apple will be $1600.I know of 2 people that literally gave up their MacBook Air for a windows because of cost.
Their Air was too slow after a few years so they needed to upgrade it and an upgrade cost $1500 before taxes. They got a windows that had more hard drive space and memory for under $500.
Not everyone is geeking out for an M3 chip when they don't even know how to take advantage of the M3 capabilities. I was obsessed with the Mac Pro until I saw someone use it for their job and I realized there is absolutely ZERO reasons as to why I should have it. Some of these devices are created for people in the graphic design world, the creating world etc. thats why I laugh when I see all the "I need an M3 now!" posts.
Majority of the people need hard drive space first and foremost, then they look at the size of the laptop/monitor/weight, then come back to maybe the memory portion if that.
When your average Joe sees a 256GB MacBook is going for $1200 before taxes, do you think he will choose that option or the $400 windows that does what he or she needs which is sends emails, browse the internet, do some online shopping and take care of work on Excel or Word.
Work is done on a 4TB externalThis is very hard to believe. If they are doing consistent video work, they'd eat up 256 gb of space very quickly.
Yes, but most people here will say that 8/256 is what 99% of the people needs. It’s not about the M2 vs M3
It’s about the ridiculous upgrade pricing that takes a good starting price and quickly turns it into an overpriced machine.
Yep, except that most people here thinks that's enough for 99% of people.$1,300 for 8gb ram and 256gb of storage what a joke!
Aficionados are waiting for the M3, regular customers wonder why it’s equipped like their current five year old machine in terms of SSD and Ram and why, when adjusting the specs, the price approaches current Pro prices. It just seems like a bad deal for many I think.
Thumbs up just for this!I am become fan, purchaser of MacBook Air.
You’re not wrong. I’m a very technical user, yet even I am completely satisfied with my $750 (open box for $540) Windows machine. And then I upgraded the SSD to 1TB for a little over $100. Not to mention I have a 90Hz OLED screen. Leaves me scratching my head when I look at the Mac lineup.I know of 2 people that literally gave up their MacBook Air for a windows because of cost.
