Last night, we saw the release of a extensive research note from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who laid out his timeline for product releases from Apple in the coming year. MacRumors videographer Dan Barbera recaps Kuo's predictions in this video which covers an extensive range of products including an all new 16" MacBook Pro, 6K Apple Display and much more.

Kuo is well regarded in the rumor community due to a very good track record at predicting Apple's products. Kuo gathers intelligence from his contacts in Apple's Asian supply chain, translating the information he gleans into research notes for clients.

The 17" was a powerhouse and stable workhorse in it's day and when it got cut and we saw the top size go down to 15", that was a bad day. Ming speculates and everyone falls over themselves to the positive or whatever. But, if a 16" did eventuate, that would be a great thing.

This frosted glass is both making me excited, and scaring me after the Pixel 3

I'm thinking the new 17 in. MBP and Mac Pro are going to be geared toward gamers.

That's right. I said "gamers"

WWDC 2019 here we come.
Your thinking of the wrong company. Its gonna take a new CEO for Apple to even consider this.

AirPods 2 with added water resistance in black/or space gray, and sold. My first Gen AirPods are Still preforming flawlessly.
Agreed but if there isn’t some kind of improved “Find My AirPods” feature that allows them to either emit a loud noise or to have the the iPhone or iPad you’re using to find them emit a tone that gets louder as you get closer to them then I’m out.

He sometimes seems like a hired Apple PR representative, sometimes.....

Although, he is not always right about things.

Sorry to read that there won't be any design changes in the new AirPods for another year or two. There is a growing competition in this business sector with better fitting products that resist water much better. If this is true, I continue to not understand Apple's competitiveness or lack of it.

AirPower: couldn’t care less

AirPods: waiting to see what gen 2 brings but likely will take advantage of any price drop or sales associated with gen 1.

Next iPhone: we’ll see. Thinking it might be the first (flagship) iPhone I have ever skipped. I regret the X -> Xs upgrade. The cost of iPhone is far too high. They should never have done the Xr at all - the Xs should be $749. Expensive parts, margins, blah blah blah be damned.

16.x inch MBP: I’m very happy with my 2018 MBP and don’t anticipate upgrading any time in the next 5 years

Depends on whose definition of "gaming" we're going by, and I could see Apple passing off a mobile game port as "gaming"...

Am I the only person who finds the 100 meter deep wrist area/touchpad on modern laptops unusable?
I didn’t enjoy my first few weeks with it, but I grew to like it. Adjusted my hand positioning I guess, and perhaps Apple tweaked the palm rejection a bit after their initial release.
