"I Know Nothingk"

If I get the 16GB and I put one or two movies on it for a trip, do I get the memory back if I delete them later? I don't need my entire video library on it. Also my 80GB I Pod is like, empty and I have at least 2,000 songs on it and maybe three videos. Should someone like me get more than 16GB? I'm sure I will add a few apps and games but I don't see my video or movie library growing on my I pad. With the wi fi, I can view videos and other content without saving it, right? I really don't know the answers to these questions, I'm only wondering. I don't want to spend more on what I don't need, but the idea of traveling with an I pad as opposed to my laptop sound great to me.

Yes

Yes. Wifi is not desirable where I am so I view videos over 3G with my unlimited plan.

I think tablets will revolutionize the mobile landscape. Perhaps even the computing experience in general.

16 has worked fine for me with both movies, songs, pics

Hi

Bought mine the 1st day it came out and I've loaded at least 40 you tube videos, over 500 pictures, lots of music, some half a dozen books, over 30 apps, and still have around 2 gb left of the 16...

If I start to get below a gig left I just get rid of the older videoes or books I have read...

Netflix works great and nothing is left on the memory after viewing at least a dozen movies with mine... I have the least expensive iPad with wi-fi only...

Hope this helps...

Since you have probably already purchased the Ipad of your dreams I will chime in with my observation;

They only say they are happy with a little 16 gig Ipad.
64 Gig envy!

Buy the biggest amount of memory you can afford, always, in in computer product you use!

Personaly anyone who buys the 64GB is Rediculous ... stupid price ..

Not if you store many videos not available online, such as all those long opera DVS.......

Wish some streaming service can provide enough musical DVDs, like concert, or operas!

sweet spot

I think for the previous run, the 32GB was the sweet spot. 64GB was just too much space for normal usage,

and, I have found out that the 16GB CAN have some limitations. My MIL to whom I gave a 16GB ipad, when going on a european trip, wanted to download half a dozen movies, all of which came in at about 2GB (not sure why they were so large, not really HD versions), which pretty much filled the little sucker up.
