Actually the basis of ishopuk is the fact they were supposedly selling the iphone without contract and that is the title of this thread incase you hadn't noticed so it is relevant. ishopuk was founded to try and lure iphone customers primarily hence the "i-shopuk"
I don't have any trace of anger towards those who have chosen to give huge sums of money to mobile companies to buy an apple product, so that might just be paranoid projection on the part of some.
And of course it is apples choice how to sell their product, it just disappoints me they haven't offered it in a more flexible way so more people could buy it and use it. And that doesnt mean cheaper nessisarily - the handset costs far more without a contract than with it, it just means your giving your money to apple in a one off payment and not getting tied into years of monthly payments, which I know many would prefer, so I don't know why there is so much offense at this idea of apple actually opening the market - they are doing it later this year.
