So true, need new name. Apple PCD (Personal Computing Device)

Especially with the larger 'phablet' sizes. Calling them a phone just doesn't seem to cut it anymore. In fact my phone app use on average is 2% of my entire usage pattern.

It's particularly interesting to note the first keynote of original iPhone. Remember how Steve Jobs talked about introducing three new devices. iPod, phone, and Internet computing device. The most cheers were for the phone. Least for Internet device. As it turns out the least desired feature has become the most used in one fashion or another.

I was driving four college girls from airport back to school and all four were on their devices, and get this, texting each other as they sat next to each other!

They were texting about you, obviously. You had funny shoes on or something.:D

Anyone else not seeing any app usage listed on the battery settings page? I used to have it on my 6+ but not on the 6+.

You look ok for an ornamental cat I guess.:p

Heh, Samsung chip owners aren't going to be happy....

I've always been able to destroy the battery on all my smartphones. My iPhone 6s Plus TSMC just doesn't want to suffer the same fate!
Took a hammer to my TSMC chipped phone, was able to destroy battery with no problem. :)

In a way, I wish I had a Samsung chipped device, just to show the naysayers they can get the same battery life. But cest la vie.

Hi guys. So I just came back to have a look. And yes I have used my iPhone far calls, probably only around 10 minutes but they were all on wifi calls from home. Also sent a couple messages from home.

I wonder if Apple just don't count wifi calls as counting towards the phone app

As far as tje battery life on the 6s Plus, I'm getting over a full day on WiFi with abour 14 hours screen on time. So it's stellar battery life. And I've got the Samsung chip.

As far as the FB battery drain, I read on a blog post here on the front page that FB is looking into it. Which will make battery life even better for those of us who are FB addicts.

The background usage counts towards usage time also correct? Subtract the 7+ hours of Facebook background, and your usage stats are eh.

My iPhone 6s plus doesn't ever give me usage and standby times anymore. I just get a blank line for each. I got a figure for the very first day after the first full charge and now nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

If you turn off your phone the usage will disappear until you reach 100% again. Maybe that's why?

Ah yes, that's it, thank you. Duh! Since I got my folio cases I've been in the habit of turning the phone off after closing the cover without even thinking about it.

I don't get app usage info on my iPhone 6s+ or my iPad Mini 2. Both are running 9.0.2. None of the tips mentioned in these forums helped at all. It's gotta be something wrong with iOS since the same is true of 2 separate devices. Unlike the phone the iPad was never restored from a backup so that's not it either.
