My battery is already at 92%.. Soon it is going to reach 100% and I am going to leave it charged for 2 hours before plugging the power supply for 5 hours.. Perhaps I will sleep while letting it discharge...

One question, can I still use my machine while the machine is charging its way back up? I had already let it slept for more than 5 hours after its battery had been depleted.. I am currently at the last step of the calibration method..

Yes. I think the idea is to give it a contiguous charge back to 100%, without running off battery.

How's the charge rate now? Does it look like the time remaining is more reasonable?

I have charged the battery back to 100%.. However, the maximum charge rate now is only 9073... This is very weird... I am lost..

If I get your meaning, that's about where it was per System Profiler at the start of the thread. Does System Profiler say it's charged now?

If it's the same as what it reported at the start of the thread, it's probably time for that Genius Bar appointment. If they have batteries on-hand, the might be able to swap it while you wait. It's not much more difficult than swapping a hard drive (I haven't done a battery, but I've done my hard drive a couple of times now. Hopefully, AppleCare will be over with before I need a new one :) )

As you can see in the system profiler, it says that it is still "Charging" and the current status of Fully Charged is "No". However, in the system tray, the percentage next to the battery icon shows 100%..

I am suspecting that there is some error with the battery processor..

Yea, I tend to agree. Hopefully the Apple Store will get you back up and running quickly.

I had visited Apple Store today.. After they did their little test, they concluded that my battery had failed and needed to be replaced.

I was very lucky as they have a spare parts ready in the back and fixed it on the spot. After waiting for 40 minutes, it is finally all done.

Now, my battery maximum charge capcity is 12890.. Not bad.. Still has 0 Battery Cycles in it..

So happy that Apple had fixed it for me free of charge.. :)

Wonderful. I was hoping they would, and it's definitely a warranty issue when there's a major degradation. Enjoy! I'm liking mine! (I've had it since end of February)

I have one question on how you are supposed to leave your battery..

The way I do it now, I always charge my MBP battery to 100% and the plug out the power adapter.. I let it drain all the way to 20% and then plug the power back in. I do that everyday..

After getting my battery fixed, the Genius at the Apple store told me that I can keep my battery plug in all the time, BUT, I have to sometime let the battery drain all the way to 0% AT LEAST once a week..

Which method should I do? I notice that if I keep doing my method, the Battery Load Cycle will always increase much faster than the Genius' method. Does this mean that I am killing my battery with my method?

Let it charge up and get a more accurate reading while it is charged. Coconut battery gives me drastically low readings when I'm running on battery.

Coconut Battery is the same with System Profiler reading.. I believe that it is quite accurate..
