Thought it was my router but it's not. iPad works fine as well as iPhone 5. Takes about 40 seconds for pages to load, if they do at all. When in wifi settings, list available servers is hit or miss. Sometimes they're there and sometimes they're not. Speedtest app constantly times out when pinging. Tried it with and without iPhone silicone case. Same result.

Same here it's horrible on wifi. I have to switch back to cellular because the speeds suck. Iphone 6 here.

Is suggest trying in a different wifi router. Could be an issue with the 6 and your specific router, trying it on another Router should work out if the phone is faulty

If it would consistently load other networks I would think it was a router issue but it doesn't. LTE works fine.

yup, same terrible performance on my iphone 6 plus as well. the speedtest app constantly shows around 1 mbps or less. tried resetting network settings, but after a while it goes back to slow speeds

Same problem here. Turning off 5Ghz on my home router has 'fixed' it, I guess that will have to do until Apple fix it properly.

Short lived. Back to poor performance.

Did you restore from a backup to start new?

I would suggest that you erase all to bring the phone to pristine and then start as new phone.

If that does not do it, then you have a bad phone…do waste any more time trying to figure it out…

BTW...I have 5GHZ and no issues

I tried turning the 5Ghz back on again (and turning 2.4Ghz off) and it's working ok still... weird.

My 6+ on my home network using the 5 ghz band (older time capsule) is working just fine. So is my wife's.

Is it possible to try on a different wifi network somewhere like at a friend's place or a public wifi? Wondering if your router might need to be updated. I'm assuming you've tried rebooting your modem and router....

My 6 was bad at first, then I noticed it was updating the new apps Apple put on. After that was done it was good to go.

Mine isn't terrible but it seems like on certain apps when on wifi they don't load up. Once I turn wifi off and lte kicks in they work as normal. I imagine that would be an app issue?

Its an issue wif ios8, not the 6.

After I upgraded to ios8 on my 5s, the wifi drop/slow issues happen

So far my wifi seems variable. Sometimes blazing, sometimes crawling. Not sure yet if it's the sites/servers or the phone

I have absolutely no proof of this, but I believe it may be an issue with iOS 8. Are you by chance using an Apple Time Capsule as a router? I have done extensive testing with iOS betas (and the release) on multiple devices. There seems to be an issue inherent to iOS 8 and the Time Capsules.
