I'm seeing it and it is worse than terrible...

iPhone 6 speedtest (after resetting network settings):
0.01 d/l
3.35 u/l

AWFUL.

iPhone 4s (on iOS 8)
15.91 d/l
13.32 u/l

Mine is working great! Getting about double the speeds of my 5S(finally regular speeds), did you guys restore from an iCloud backup? Maybe try a fresh install, restore as new.

iPhone 6 64GB SG and no wifi problems here on an Airport Express router. It Is at least as fast, if not faster than my 5S. I was watching all my apps download yesterday and was surprised at how fast it went.

I rebooted my 6 (hadn't done that since the Restore from iTunes from last night) and now it's faster than 5s. Yay good/normal wifi!

No time capsule. Asus router.

there is a setting in the asus router that seems to cause problems with some apple products (not mine tho , but a very few), its in the wifi 5ghz section under professional
"IEEE 802.11h support"
see if you have this and try enable or disable, also get back on model

I have an Asus RT-AC66R router. I haven't had any issues here on my 6 Plus.

Generally if I am using a device and I have poor performance on my 5GHz band I can switch to 2.4 and its fine. The 5GHz band simply doesn't reach as far as 2.4. If I start to have poor performance on 5GHz and I walk closer to where the router is (2nd floor office) its fine.

Maybe test it with a buddies wifi or go someplace with public wifi to test.

yes that router and most others suck for 5GHz, I tried apples, ac66r, rt-ac68r, all suck for coverage of 5ghz , I now own the RT-AC87R and can tell you for a fact it is just awesome, I get 5GHz coverage all over my house with no problems at all, it is expensive but well worth it, more than double the range of the RT-ac68R, I also set one up for a family member and I had 5GHz all over his 1/2 acre of land, besides all in his house.

I may have to upgrade and maybe Ill use the 66 as an access point somewhere out in the garage or something. I tried 3rd party firmware like DDWRT and Merlin. Merlin seemed to help a bit, but not much.

No WiFi issues on my 6. Works great at home and when I left to go to Pubix it picked up their WiFi before I went in the store. When I left and went back home it moved easily back to LTE, then at home it picked up my WiFi with no issues.

Tried disabling the 5Ghz broadcast and same issue. Tried using only 5Ghz broadcast and same issue. Disabled 5Ghz broadcast and then resetting network settings on my phone again, restarted and everything is working as it should. Hopefully it stays this way.

I have absolutely no proof of this, but I believe it may be an issue with iOS 8. Are you by chance using an Apple Time Capsule as a router? I have done extensive testing with iOS betas (and the release) on multiple devices. There seems to be an issue inherent to iOS 8 and the Time Capsules.

My iPhone 5 and iPad mini 2 have been having this problem since I upgraded to iOS 8. Frequently fall off wifi and I have to go into settings and choose my router to get them back on wifi and it will be so sloooowwww.

Yeah, me too.
Sat my iPad air next to my iPhone 6+ and ran speed tests one right after the other on the same wifi network. The iPad Air ran consistently better.

It took a while for my 6 to connect with my FIOS router, but it has been perfect since then.

Having horrible wifi as well. Have to keep turning wifi off and using Lte. It will load one page the. Just freeze on loading the next page. Hopefully apple pushes a fix soon.

No problems here on a iPhone 6+ and a Netgear R6300 router with a 50/10 pipe through Cox. Getting full bandwidth while connected to the 5GHz channel, actually more than full bandwidth due to "speed boost"

No problems with my Airport TC. Get over 100 Mbs download speeds. Also have used other routers in restaurants, etc with no issues. I wonder if iOS 8 and the fact it randomizes mac addresses may be causing issues with some routers.

Happens at friend's house as well. Worked fine for an hour or so and now same poor performance. Same router older firmware.
