I've been reading about the 6 Plus bending and I have been debating getting this device, how do you stop it from bending, in your pocket?

from the instances i've seen posted so far...people are also putting it in their back pocket and sitting down with it. who sits on their phone and doesn't expect it to break or bend?

Also, super tight clothing doesn't seem to help either.

I'm going to take it out when I sit down (unless I have VERY loose fitting clothes on). It's the price we pay for a) larger screens and b) Apple's obsession with thinness.

Been sitting on various phones for the past 3-4 years. Never broken one. However, I wouldn't sit on the iFragile.

Don't use the phone, don't put it in your pocket, don't sit with it, don't squat with it, don't run with it.

Basically keep your phone at home, this is what apple guys are saying on here must be true.

Non-hipsters shouldn't have a problem. I have regular fit jeans and I don't feel any sort of pressure on the phone when I'm sitting. If you feel pressure, either get looser jeans, or a smaller phone.

Sitting on it is hardly normal usage. Of course, I don't go around sitting on laptops or TV screens either...

Any stiff cases that you can recommend? This would help also.

I can't believe anyone sits with their phone in their rear pocket.

This actually made it as a thread! Really! Because some idiot with his skinny hip hugging jeans puts a $1000 phone in his back pocket and sits down this becomes apples problem?

Or better yet the drunk guy at a wedding who made the front page!

I'm wondering if there is anything you could actually do to prevent it.

The phone is so thin for being so large. The large aluminum back will tend to bend when subjected to heat just like aluminum pots and pans warp on the stove.
