No this is not an onion article

http://9to5mac.com/community/my-iphone-6-plus-is-yanking-out-my-hair/

By now we should be aware of the bendgate issue but it doesn’t concern me much. I take good care of my phone.

I’m more concerned and somewhat irritated that my iPhone 6 Plus, keeps yanking out my my hair when I’m making call. Initially I thought it was the hair sticking to the screen protector. But upon closer inspection, it was the seam between the glass and aluminium– hair gets stuck and when you try to free it out, it hurts. I believe it’s not only me.

Anyone else getting beard hairs pulled by the iPhone 6/Plus? It catches my scruff in the seam and yanks it during calls. #hurts #beardgate

My hair keeps getting caught in the microscopic seam between glass and aluminium on my iPhone 6

The seam on my iPhone 6 where the aluminum meets the glass is definitely catching my hair and pulling it out. #seamgate

At this point I am believing this might be two things

- People are trolling
- iPhone has become too popular and the irritable folks who would never buy Apple products before are now its customers
- People just want an excuse to complain.
- Society is regressing

I mean really?!?!?!?!?!?

Guess that's the phones fault that your hair is getting stuck?

Could always use a bluetooth headset...

#hairgate

I do not believe that people are trolling, since the 9to5mac writer says that this is happening to him too, and I think he likes the iPhone. I think those people are most likely telling the truth. But I don't have a beard so I don't care.

Maybe the hair fall out is from to the higher the iPhone 6 nearly exceeding legal radiation limits?

Did you read what you just said?

'Nearly exceeding legal radiation limits'

That literally means, it's within legal limitations. As in it has not exceeded limitations.

I think you better get checked out by a qualified mental health facility. Same as these guys claiming the phone is pulling hair.

Pardon the sarcasm that you didn't catch :p

Though you should know that just because its within legal limitations doesn't mean its actually safe. You remember the time when certain amounts of lead were allowed in toothpaste? That was within legal limits too in not so distant history.

LOL @hairgate comment. I guess we all need to shave our heads now, hurry!

lol... yeah, I gotcha. Hey! You know, the government upped the radiation limits around a leaking waste facility in Arizona right? Instead of cleaning it up... they simply revised the legal limit so the people there were still technically under it. Good stuff!

My 6 doesn't seem to catch my hair, but I can believe it. In the past, the tolerances between the screen and body were not perfect; some were more flush than others. I don't know if I'd call it a big issue though

It actually does. I took the case off my iPhone 6 Plus and ending up catching a single beard hair on it. Hurt like hell. Needless to say, the case will stay on it from this point forward.
That said, if this is what people need to complain about now that #bendgate is over, I'm sure Apple can handle it.

........................

.....there's no hope left for humanity. I'm heading to Mars.
