I got hands on time with the Galaxy S5... the "Tips" equivalent app on that phone is amazing! Animated person that talks you through what you can do with it and tells you to try it out... sure iPhone still rules, but the Samsung does better in some areas.

I LOVE K-POP. Who's your favorite artist?

Yeah but the things Samesung is better is never the fundamentals of content consumption which is where we spend a majority of our focus. So when they put extras on stuff, its neat from my inner tech point of view, but i can't help being to busy watching Youtube vids such as Orange Caramel, GD/Top/Taeyang, fx, and 2ne1/snsd of course.

This does in fact happen to me. The shortly cropped hair on the side of my head catches on the glass/aluminum seam. It's a small issue but never happened with my other iPhone's.

It happens to me too. My beard hair gets caught at the top seam when I make calls.

It's weird, you can make fun of it being a non issue, but it happens.

No this is not an onion article

At this point I am believing this might be two things

- People are trolling
- iPhone has become too popular and the irritable folks who would never buy Apple products before are now its customers
- People just want an excuse to complain.
- Society is regressing

I mean really?!?!?!?!?!?

What I find sad are all the people like you (and that includes most of the new people working at Apple too), that don't understand the initial focus and attention to details that used to make Apple different. Now that Apple has become mainstream, and that Jobs and his disciples have left the company, we see more and more the consequences of thinking mainstream.

When Jobs was getting nuts over a logo that was one pixel off center, or that the team was spending weeks working on the closing sound of a macbook (that sounds like a book closing), etc.. was Jobs trolling then? Did he just want an excuse to complain?

Whether or not you believe this is important, there are people in that company (and their followers then) that used to believe that if you were to sell a product that you carry around in your pocket all day, and place against your ear occasionaly, that:
- it should not bend by moderate force that could come from every day events (bumping into something, etc..)
- it should not pull your hair when placed against your face
- it should not emit a signal stronger than any similar device, to the point of wondering if it safe to keep in your pocket
- It should not have large ugly bands in the back because we couldn't think of a different way to let the signal go through
- It should not erase all of your documents when pressing a button that explicitly says it would not do that
- It should not prevent you from using your phone by just following the recommended upgrade
- It should not leak your nude pictures for the world to see
...

Yes, hasanahmad, "really..."... there are people in that company that used to care about those things, and there are people that just "got it". At the time, we were known to "think different".

Not sure why I am wasting my time explaining this though, people like you... you will never get it

Im not interested in your opinions or how relevant they are. Im interested in establishing what is the best. Just on the merit of greatness itself, if nothing else. And then during the ownership process I like to revel in that, knowing I have the best, it gives me peace.

Actually your thought process is more like:

1) Ive is the best and it sickens me. His designs annoy me because they give a high priority to style. Maybe even the classic criticism of style over function.

2) I will look for things to dethrone him, to show he is no longer the best and overrated.

3) Oh here is a customer complaining about something that which supports my mental urges to hate.

4) I will believe it blindly and hold it as true because I want it to be true even if i know deep down inside its just illogical nonsense.

Yes, Apple is superior, Ive tried out the Galaxy Note in the store.

The number one asset coming out of S. Korea is K-Pop not Samsung.

My dads Samsung TV can't even run the Youtube App correctly and the software in the TV is pure retardation. Voice commands and navigation are horribly horribly implemented.

Samsung phones are not expected to be flawless. There is no news here.

We never expected them to be the best.

Okay so you're just a totally blinded fanboy. Good to know.

Im not blinded. I could easily defend all aspects of my arguments and the masses agree.

So you think sales figures alone prove that a phone is superior? Justin Bieber has more record sales and money then between the buried and me, does that mean everyone thinks Bieber is better? Does that mean he is objectively more skilled? No.

Well he happens to be skilled too, both as a singer (if you heard his first single) and as an entertainer (captured the hearts of a generation via social media).

But no, sales figures are just the beginning aspect of why Im not a "blind" fanman of Apple.

I haven't even gotten to the immense critical praise and phenomenal company success part.

So you think apple phones are objectively better for everyone and those who choose not to use them just don't know any better? Really? Don't you think that is absurd? There are some reasons people actually prefer android phones to iphones believe it or not.

Customizability
Apps that exist that apple would never allow
USB otg
NFC use (apples is only apple pay)
Sd cards (only some)
Price

Etc.

All that openness at the expense of other more important things though.

Like what? Besides you understand every device has compromises and imperfections? Even your beloved iphone isn't perfect.

This is going to be more opinion you retort with but whatever, tell me.

I use a case so I haven't noticed an issue with my 6 (not +). That would be annoying though. I returned and exchanged plenty of clothing and mostly backpacking gear that's rubbed me wrong or pulled hair. Never an electronic device though.

See these are just fundamentals. If you don't know this stuff you should not be commenting if you don't know the age old cornerstones of this company.

You should already know the answer to your own question.

Touch response
Smoothness
Stability
Security
Less slowdowns and crashes

Real basic stuff. Been talked about for years now.

These biased amateur reviewers still don't get this stuff and the superior experience because of that tradeoff in addition to many other things and micro and macro aspect that all interplay in a way like nobody else but Apple could do.

"Touch response"

Likely gone in android L entirely, even at this point it's difficult to notice on current flagships, with the exclusion of samsung phones perhaps.

"Smoothness"

Again. Likely entirely gone in android L, already very difficult to notice, if it's even there at all. Furthermore the 6+ has had reports of lag and jitteryness so really no room to talk there. And even still this is a worthy trade off for some.

"Stability"

I suppose android has more app crashes yes. It's a side effect from the less heavily moderated App Store, the vast variety of phones and the fact that apps are allowed more access to the system itself. Again. A worthy trade off for many.

"Security"

Really common sense is enough security, even still there exists anti virus but I think that's a useless battery drain. If you have common sense and don't go downloading random apps from the browser and running them on your phone foolishly nothing will happen. Again, another trade off (if you even call It that) for more customizability and system access, and one that many consider worth it.

"Less slowdowns and crashes"

A reiteration of previous points.

Ive used the latest ones and its not the same feel as the iPhone. Its almost like the transitions and movement and touch response is in 1080P HD vs 720P its just choppier and less smooth. Its not like in 2010 but its still not caught up.

What in the hell does touch response and smoothness have to do with resolution?

I also disagree, I have used some of them as well and anecdote vs anecdote here haven't found a huge difference. I think that ios on the iphone 6 is smoother but on the 6+ I tried (demo units) there was jank and stutter.

Nothing you have said so far proves objectively that an iphone is the best. You need to realize your opinions not fact and plenty of people actually do prefer android. I'm not saying I do, I consider them fairly close, but to state that the iphone is objectively the best phone is very foolish.

No trust me, I have a 6 Plus, and I held it next to a Galaxy S5 and was just scrolling back and forth back and forth and it was obvious it was choppy.

Esspecially with this new screen technology on the 6 line that just makes the screen pop unlike any screen Ive every seen. And its also the best camera.

And better battery life on the 6 Plus because of the non open OS

OMG I can just go on and on annihilating you guys but I feel you should inherently all know this stuff. Why we are better I mean.

Again if you read my post I specifically added an exception for samsung. Their touchwizz is garbage. Although the 6+ is still stuttery and janky too at times. Probably not as bad as touchwizz but it's there.

And yes the iphone screen is great but it's not new technology. It's still one of the best screens though.

As for the battery it's good but there are android phones that are just as good and some that are better.

Well the other phones don't match up like Samsung, either in battery or hardware, or whatever models you want to bring forth. The reason we say Samsung is they are the closest all around competitor. But still far away.

My Plus does not stutter and if others do its because a new OS was just released. The Plus stutters for some these weeks, but the other phones stutter for everyone forever.

Who is we? Samsung isn't the better one. Id even rather compare the iPhones to the nexus phones even though the nexus phones are much cheaper. They run better than samsung phones.

You don't know that the stutter will get better. It shouldn't be there to begin with right? After all apple is all about smoothness. It probably will be improved but for now my point stands.

Well then point out another phone and I will explain why it doesn't compare.

and no it doesn't stand because there are many people who report that they have no stutter on their Plus and it behaves as we expect, aka super fast, smooth and flawlessly. The people who have no lag are the majority therefore it is reasonable to assume its software related and not like the processor can't handle the screen which is what you wish would happen or be true.

No, it's not a joke. This really happens. I pulled a few hairs out of my phone. I even had some stuck in the camera lens too.

I'm not saying its a huge problem, but it does happen.
