Think long and hard about it though, the reason you are supposed to be 18 to get a tattoo is that you should be smart enough not to by that age.

This just made me laugh. Any evidence to back up your claim?

I would like to see that too.

IMO, as soon as they are out the "door", most can't wait to rebel, and get a tat/pierce or whatever the parents hate.

Why does it matter if the logo is capitalist? I can't see what difference that makes; I can't see the point of having any company logo as a tatoo, but capitalism doesn't really come into it..?

Because this board is largely liberal, and "capitalist" is the "c-word" among liberals. ;)

Probably a bit late to ask for feedback! :D

Anyway, if you like it then that's all that matters. If you hate it later you will have no-one to blame but yourself and I'm sure you understood that before doing it (I hope).

However, is it just me, or is the apple on backwards?

Well let me rephrase:
"You have to be 18, so that ideally you are old enough not to do anything you will regret". Generally it's the parents that hope by the time you reach 18 you will stop thinking how "cool" it is.

Same reason you have to reach a legal age for drinking, smoking, gambling. Do I need evidence as to why governments put legal ages on things? Obviously it's in the [futile] hope that people will be responsible at that age with things like drinking/gambling.

Once again, sorry if I insulted you or anything, but you asked for opinions. If you do live and don't regret it, then well done. Also it seems you thought about it rather than a drunken "I love josh" tattoo, so that's got to be worth something. :p

Edit: richardjames, I should've just said what your post said. The Apple is on forwards, I think the backwards pic is photobooth.

I have to agree with the other voices... as a tattoo, that's really... lame. Really lame. Lame enough that if I put that on myself, I'd have to kick my own ass. Seriously. Get a life. Get a girlfriend. Get a hobby. Don't put some stupid company's logo on your skin forever.

I was thinking about getting the General Mills logo stuck to my bicep. What can I say, I just love cheerios...

Tanks

IEdd , thanks for correcting yourself as I too agree with your statement, and like I mentioned only time will tell.

Have you not been reading pooky?? I didnt just put a "general mills" logo on me. What I did is took a designed that I liked and knew that it would have multiple meanings ( just so happens its an apple) and I made it my own. I DID NOT do this for apple or anybody else. I did it for me and me only. Just do a little research before throw words out their.

BTW whats that talk about capitalism??? How did that come into the conversation??:D

Whatever you decide on, spend the extra $$ for a quality job. Having a tat you're not happy with because of the subject is one thing, having one that is crap work on top of it is cause for serious hate.

Work with your artist, make sure they know exactly what you're looking for, listen to their advice and suggestions, and POST PICS!! :D

I like how you said "I'm 18 so I don't care what my parents think."

Maybe you should have listened to them on this one. I doubt any parent would approve of someone tattoo'ing a video game and computer company on their leg. But whatever.

You're 18, so ydc.

you should really think about what your going to get done. I have 2 and if i could go back in time i would have taken the money and purchased something else. Just take your time and remember it's forever, unless you got the cash to get it removed.
