So which one is it? Coke or Pepsi? If you like one of the brands thats under one of these companies (i.e.; Mountain Dew...choose Pepsi).

For straight up cola, I prefer Pepsi, but for flavored colas (Cherry, Black Cherry Vanilla, and the now-defunct Vanilla), I prefer Coke.

Prefer diet coke... but if I had to only pick between Coke and Pepsi, Coke.

It depends what your eating. With pizza I prefer Coke, but with asian food I prefer Pepsi. With no food though I would have to go with Coke. But only Coca-Cola, I would never drink any of those other Colas.

Edit: When you make a poll can you choose the bar colours? Or is it just coincidence that Coke is red and Pepsi is blue?

I'd rather have Mountain Dew than anything else but for Cola, it's Coke.

Can you add a third option:- Neither - have you seen what they do to a penny!!:)

Hey, I used to clean my car's battery terminals with a bottle of Coke. :D

You forgot Dr. Pepper.
(it's a Texas thing.)

But, if I had to choose between Coke and Pepsi, It's all about Pepsi, specifically diet.

Diet pepsi > diet coke BUT Coke Zero > diet pepsi BUT normal pepsi < normal coke.

Either way, I want a Dr. Pepper.

I don't drink soda, but if I do, I'd choose Pepsi over Coke. It's got a sweeter taste to it. Coke leaves my teeth all gritty too.

Pepsi supports iTunes, so they win. Oh, wait, Pepsi didn't have an iTunes promo this year, so never mind. We'll revert to the second-most important criterion - my own personal taste buds. The answer in that case is that I prefer Coke, except when drinking diet soft drinks, in which case I used to prefer Diet Coke, changing my mind years ago to Diet Pepsi, but in the last month I've inexplicably started preferring Diet Coke again.

And you can't answer a choose-A-or-B question any more obfuscatorially than that!

Definitely Dr Pepper.

Though given a strict choice between Coke and Pepsi, I would go for Coke. Pepsi is just too sweet and flat-tasting. Ick.

Coke, but I have family who works for Pepsi so I don't discuss it or there will be bloodshed.

I drink diet Coke (diet Pepsi if that's all there is) but I squirt lemon juice in it if I can. Some restaurants have lime and that's even better. It really improves the taste.

Coke, or more specifically, Coke Zero. But I don't really drink soda all that much anymore, I'd much rather have green tea or water.

I usually prefer Coke, but I also like Pepsi. I like the taste of Coke more, but I find Pepsi more refreshing.

Coke tastes more "lemony" to me.

If I had to drink diet (which I hardly ever do), it would have to be diet Coke, because diet Pepsi is disgusting.

...but I'll drink anything labeled "cola," no matter who makes it. :D

I prefer Pepsi Max (which I believe is called One in the US), but often buy Coke Zero because it's easier to find.

As far as colas go, I prefer RC Cola. Below that, I alternate between Pepsi and Coke, depending on my mood.

As far as soda goes, Cream Soda is my favorite though...

I used to be Pepsi fan, but ever since I started dieting, my soda of choice is Diet Coke with Splenda. Aspartame gives me a headache. In restaurants, Diet Coke with lime, when the waitperson can remember to actually get a lime.

I did import a case of Irn-Bru for my Sunday non-dietday treat. Luckily my girlfriend doesn't care for it ;)

Only water, coffee and smoothies here unless we're talking alcohol.

Coke and Pepsi always leave me thirstier than when I started, which sort of negates the point of drinking anything.

I prefer Pepsi, but the only times I drink soda is the occasional bottle of Antarctica at home and during my night class (6:30-9:15 after a full day of work) where I drink one 20oz Cherry Coke - we have no Pepsi machine at school, and the machine there is $1; everywhere else is well over that at $1.25+tax or $1.49+tax.
