Definitely. Can't wait for this myself as it will make AIM into a very useful app for me, as opposed to the almost useless app it is now.
 
Um u apply for the beta program and if u get in you pay 99 dollars and they give it to you
 
Another thread I read someone mentioned that they had found evidence of many new features including cut and paste. Have you seen any evidence of this?
 
The documentation associated with the beta firmware makes it clear that the necessary server support on Apple's part for push notifications is not yet available.
 
o god i cant wait. no more lagging and i've been holding off on mobile me until they get everything sorted out. so september right?
 
Bring it on! I wonder if this will be held back until WWDC when an announcement of a partnership with TomTom / Garmin is announced?

I think the Apple show where Apple isn't in there is possibly orchestrated to get Nike's announcement. It is currently sponsored by Nike +
What better way to launch their new iPhone 3G friendly apps?
 
I'm glad they are addressing the issues with poor application resource management with the apps. This should clear up the crashing and the lag.

Hopefully the update will resolve the Outlook sync bug, I hate setting all my new appointments as recurring.

and incorporate the use of Windows Calenders (on Vista)
 
i wonder when the update is released if itunes will be able to handle the load of people updating or will i lose my phone for another 12 hours:mad:

iTunes enters it into DFU mode doesnt it?
while its downloading the update.
