To the posts about the Profiles, they only show up if you have some installed on your phone. I just deleted mine off and that setting went away. Resynced them and it came back.

What does "restricted camera" mean?
That in the parental controls section you can now choose to disable the camera.
You'll be glad to know there is nothing 'fishy or 'untoward' with having 'Profiles' under Settings > General.
Basically this means you applied to become a beta tester for someones application, and are currently 'provisioning' their application on your phone.
It's been there since the 2.0 days // Congrats, your an official 'beta' tester, like me!

Ok, are you guys saying that BOTH the Artist and the Album were added in 2.1? And they did not exist in previous versions of the firmware? If that's the case, that makes sense and I will be a happy camper.

You either haven't updated yet, or whatever hacks you're using to change the look of your phone are preventing the feature to work.

No, it was not always independent.
I just verified that on my 2.0.2.
If I turn my iPod down, my ringer volume goes down with it.
Sorry guys, I thought it was clear in my original post that I'm not on 2.1 yet.
Edit: I was ranting because I was half excited about the new "Album" feature but pissed because it did not include the artist. Which means I haven't seen it....which means I'm not on 2.1. All I ever needed to hear was a response stating that the Artist name was included as well as the Album.
You do get that the name of this thread is "2.1 Undocumented features/fixes list!!!" and not "2.0.2 Undocumented features/fixes that everyone has but Geckotek!!!", right?
Yes, I do. And I was making a comment about an undocumented fix in 2.1 that I had not seen yet. Go back and read the posts again.
Dude, no offense, and I'm not trying to make this a flame war by any means, but you're the one who had a post freaking out that artist wasn't listed, and then when someone told you to look and see that it was there, you accused them of being a troll, all the while assuming that we should know you were on 2.0.2 in a thread whose sole purpose is to talk about 2.1
Slow down, calm down, and take your own advice.
Because if you read my post it's pretty clear that I'm not seeing what the OP was seeing....so therefore I'm not looking at a 2.1 phone. I was just replying to an incomplete statement of the feature. Does it say somewhere in the thread title "Only participate in thread if you have 2.1 installed"????
Kevo0822's response is what really started all this, he assumed I was on 2.1. All I needed to hear was from the OP that the Artist was included as well as the album.
This convo has taken up too much space on this thread. I have my answer....sorry for the confusion.....I'm very happy to see that Apple has fixed something that has really bothered me.

No, but it's pretty bleeding obvious by the title of the thread that it is specifically discussing 2.1!
