Q's from a PC veteran switching to mac this week (hopefully)
1. I wont get my iMac for a few days, and not before the 7th, can I buy and download the bundle onto a PC, or does it expect me to have a Mac, in which case can I buy and download a few days later onto the Mac?
2. Wiretap. Could I really use that to record anything as long as its playing, such as, for example BBC radio broadcasts which can be problematic to intercept on a PC even with apps that are meant to be able to record "anything"? What other, if any, apps have similar functionality on mac already? Anything built in? Would wiretap be overkill just to capture streaming audio?

so i downloaded EventBox, and it prompted me that an upgrade was available.. so of course i upgraded and then it asked for my serial number!!
am i right in assuming that the "free" eventbox app is solely for that build and if you want any further updates you have to pay the full price?

I also downloaded EventBox, but no "upgrade available" message came up. My version say that I have v 1.0. I believe that this program is still in Beta. We'll have to pay to upgrade, I imagine.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)
If one uses these referral links people keep posting does that mean nothing goes to macrumors?
There was an update to Eventbox during MacHeist. In order to update, go back to Macheist.com and redownload Eventbox. Then, replace your old version with the newly downloaded one. The update was a new Twitter API, so they are allowing Macheisters to re-download for free (just don't use the "update" function in the app.
They're my friends, I'll do what I want with them, for delicious library, I'll sell their souls, lucky for them I'm just tweeting at them instead.
Anwyay, it's 4am local time, none of them will even read it.
Thanks for the info
What's the current version number then?
I would like to know that since I am not sure either!so i downloaded EventBox, and it prompted me that an upgrade was available.. so of course i upgraded and then it asked for my serial number!!

it is still 1.0 however the new build number is r567. If you downloaded Eventbox when it was first available to MacHeist customers, you should have r566. In this case, go back to Macheist.com and redownload Eventbox.
