Interesting about Richard's MacBook Pro on Ventura.

I'm assuming that is connected via WiFi. Can you screenshot the laptop Network connection settings please.

So as it stands:

1) MACPRO-1 can see MACPRO-2
2) LAPTOP can see MACPRO-2
3) MACPRO-2 cannot see MACPRO-1
4) LAPTOP cannot see MACPRO-1

With the laptop on and connected to the network, does MACPRO-1 see the laptop? Does MACPRO-2 see the laptop?

MACPRO-1 shows all (3) computers.

MACPRO-2 shows everything BUT MACPRO-1

MacBook Pro laptop shows MACPRO-2 BUT NO MACPRO-1

So...(2) machines that are not showing MACPRO-1.

I think maybe there’s only one thing left to try. Plug MacPro-1 into MacPo-2 together with that new cable you purchased and bypass the Motorola router temporarily.

If they can see each other directly connected then there may be a configuration setting/issue with the Motorola router. If this is the case your best bet would be to reset it to factory default and reconfigure it. You can search for the User Manual online it will show you how to reset it.

If MacPro-2 still can’t see MacPro-1 even when directly connected to each other, then I’m at a loss. WiFi is turned off on the MacPros and you confirmed Firewall is turned off. Does MacPro-1 have any other antivirus or firewall or VPN software on it?
